CMR Technical Campus Hyderabad, B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering
Reviewed on Dec 25, 2020(Enrolled 2017)

Remarks

CMR Technical Campus is a good college with good infrastructure and experienced faculty. Friendly environment and eco-friendly campus. hostel facility and travel facilities are good enough and there are people from every nook and corner of the city. The admission process through TS EAMCET and under management. I got a seat under oc quota as I got a 30k rank in TS EAMCET with 60 marks, I applied for both mechanical engineering and electrical communication engineering, I got a seat in mechanical engineering. I prefer this college because it is a developing campus with better infrastructure and hopefully it becomes University soon, and good with placements for computer science engineering, electrical communication engineering students and information technology branches. CMR home page is cmrtc.ac.in. CMRTC is the campus name and CMRG. Is the campus code for EAMCET. Computer science engineering and electrical communication engineering students will have plenty of good offers and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because I am interested in machines and the life of machines. Faculty are in a good ratio as there will be teaching faculty and nonteaching faculty it will be around 1:25. All faculty are qualified with a Mtech certificate. Exams are conducted strictly, but if we study well no chances of failure.

Placement Experience

4

We will be eligible after 3-2 semesters Many companies like Dxc, amazon will visit and will have an adequate offer for CSE background students 12 LPA is the package 40-50 percent of students will be placed I have plans of starting an entrepreneurship

Fees and Financial Aid

It was 58,000. For my mechanical engineering course as I joined in 2017, now it will be around 80,000. I got a fee reimbursement of 35, 000 under economically backward castes from the Telangana state government

Campus Life

4.5

No fest fee will be collected from students Libraries are good enough to feed 60 percent of students with books at a time. Classrooms are good enough. Sports will be given less priority compared to studies, but there will be cricket, kabaddi, volleyball games.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

Placement Experience:

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
