This college strongly follows the instructions of Calcutta University and students can't get admission to this college easily because of the marks criteria. A merit list is the only way to get admission to the College. This college is very famous in Kolkata and their teachers are excellent and their teaching methods are outstanding.
Course Curriculum Overview
° I am from commerce stream so I chose B.com °The faculty of the College is excellent and it is a co-ed college but boys are more than the girls. ° Teaching method is of this college is very famous and outstanding and because of this reason, students targeted this college for admission. °College can't decide students' exam-related queries it depends on Calcutta University and the syllabus is so big.
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies offer internships to the students to the students for the period of 6months- 2 or 3 years and also offer permanent placement In the company. Many companies like Reliance, TCs, Infosys, and also Accounts-related companies offer internships to the students.
Placement Experience
°Mainly final year students are eligible for campus placement. °Lots of famous companies visited our college for placement programs like Reliance, TCS,info sis, etc. °The companies offer Rs 15000-25000 monthly packages to the students. °Maximum students are getting placements of this college. ° I will try this placement program on next upcoming year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
°The fees of the College is pocket friendly it's Rs 5000-6000 approx in the year. °You can apply for any kind of scholarship it's govt. Sponsor or private it's depends on students and you can get jobs to offer from famous companies like Reliance, TCS, infosis, etc but the offer is mainly available for final year students.
Campus Life
° The College fest program is very famous but doesn't know the exact date it depends on college management and the main thing is they invite famous singers, Dancers in the program. ° The class room is good and clean and modern facilities like a speaker, mick, projected are available. This college have a small play ground in the college campus where students can play cricket,football etc and annual sports is also organised by the college management.
Interview Experience
Merit list is the only way to get the admission in this college but the marks Percentage is very high 80% approx for General category students is required in High secondary Result but if you belongs to sc/st/obc then you need minimum of 65%.

Placement Experience
The students of Semester 5 and 6 are eligible for Campus Placements. The companies visited are. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Google, Larsen n Turbo and many more. The percentage of students getting placements is 90%. My plans after getting the degree are being placed in a top-notch company and aside that I can prepare for my MBA.

Infrastructure are good, fees were reasonable but not now. The college management should control politics influence.

The Bhawanipur Education society college is one of the best commerce colleges in Kolkata. It is my hometown and I didn't want to leave my hometown so this is why I chose this college and also because it is a private college with a good faculty.
Placement Experience
I haven't applied yet. But will definitely apply after graduation. Will try in the marketing, banking sector. Or may have a professional course under my stream. I have heard that our college is a good sponsor for the big financial companies.

The college life is the best phase of the student life here we get to learn so many new things and make friends for life time. Shouri Shikshayatan College has given me the best life in these all years as it is the best college in the state with the best infrastructure, Teacher, Environment.

First of all above everything our college is providing education at very much low cost compared to other institutes, even other government funded colleges. But there's a whole lot to improve in every department starting from Infrastructure, Extracurriculars,food, social activities and etc. Our college attracts most of the students from remote and sub-urban locations, so education for all those people are like blessings for life.

This college is best for the commerce student and this college is only boys college so there is more study. The teachers are educated and give there best. Every teachers of this college are very helpfull.
