My College Experience

EAMCET is an only entrance exam i have chosen. And i was interested in Electronics and Communications Engineering. So, i opted for that. And i have gone to the admission process through counselling.

Course structure was made by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological university Kakinada. Course structure is good. We will be providing by the Course structure material for 4 years during the joining of the college itself. We can check it over there. And there'll be an optional subjects in the last semester.

No. When we are studying, there is no chance of providing internship. But, we have a Project work in the last year which made us to visit few companies and did the project on our own.

TCS is the first company which came for recruitment in 2012. Around 30 people got selected. There is no specific number for selection by TCS. There will be a cut off in the Written exam and based on that, the eligibility for the interview gets decide. And later few companies came for recruitment. but, they are not the MNC's.

There will be a Freshers party every year. and will be an Anniversary event during the end of the year. Apart of this, management says welcome to any one to conduct an event. For example, In 2011, WE conducted an event called Mr. BALLOON, initiated by our Electronics & Communication Engineering students. Management encouraged us alot and event was very successful.

College didn't offer any scholarship or loan as per my knowledge. But, few of my friends were there who got the scholar ships from Murali mohan trust on a merit basis etc.

Campus life is good. Generic ratio is 1:2. Since it is not the city, we can't expect much maturity levels in the students. Extracurricular activities, labs and sports were there. As per my knowledge in 2008 - 2012, there are no work shops or Paper presentation events. But, now it is an Autonomous college. So, it won;t be like the same situation which was 4 years back.

We followed the Exam structure provided by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. When we are studying (2008-2012), first year having one semester and rest of there years having two semesters per year. And Examinations are very strict. I didn't see any college following such strictness in Examinations.

Faculty is very experienced when we are there. And standards of the college is quite good. Majority of the faculty are Assistant professors who pursued M.Tech. And few are there who are doing Post graduation as well. And all are dedicated towards their specific stream. There'll be a department wise faculty.
