Remarks

This was the only option left for me after graduation. I failed in scoring well in CAT exam and fees was also in my desired range but after coming to college I came to knew that placements and professors are not that bad and are also improving year after year and it's not impossible to grab a dream company from college if ready to put required efforts. Professors are also well qualified as well as there is also great industry exposure which can be a great fuel in preparation for placement season. Some toppers also get opportunity to do internships in international firms as well as student exchange program is also there with top universities of the world but for achieving all these one needs to be in top 10 percent of the entire batch as the opportunities are less but there are opportunities and one can easily grab them if ready to work harder. At last, college is great and will for sure prove out to be a good decision if one is ready to put in there efforts.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is pretty fine as the syllabus is updated every after a year or two as well as student to teacher ratio is also pretty good (30:1) and professors are also well qualified as they have done there masters from one of the top universities of the globe and also they are always eager to help students in best possible ways and also exams are scheduled regularly and are pretty much easy to pass if attended all the lectures regularly.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Internships are offered but they are pretty less in number compared to a number of companies visiting for placements which makes it harder to crack internships but it won't be a difficult task if you have put enough efforts from the very starting.

Placement Experience

3

Placements will be pretty good if you have worked hard for around 8-9 months and have maintained a good GPA. It won't be a problem as a lot of companies visit on campus and students are provided very good opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are already too high compared to its other rival colleges as well as there are regular fees hike which is a great burden for students studying here but one good thing is one can work harder to get some scholarship as University offers a lot of scholarship and can also work as an intern in some MNC to get exposure as well as some passive income.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty good as students get an opportunity to participate in various fests around the year as well as there are lot of clubs for exploring the interest and almost majority of all the sports equipment and gym facilities are available.

Hostel Facilities

2

Almost all the required things are provided in the hostel room. There's an option for AC as well as Non-AC room but I would prefer Non-AC room as the cost is pretty low and weather is pretty good throughout the year. Just like any other Indian College food is not in par to Good food but there are many options available on campus if you have resources. The registration process and other important formalities are pretty simple and will be explained to you at the time of counselling.

Admission

Management quota

Interview Experience

1

There were no specific rounds for me as I got admitted through management quota but I don't have much idea about students getting admitted through merit-based but even if it's there I am damn sure that it won't be too hard to crack as it's almost the last option for any MBA aspirant.

Remarks:

I completed my BBA from CU and really liked this university because of it's amazing infrastructure and the kind of high level education and practical skills they were providing. It was already decided that I wanted to pursue an MBA program in the long run. I took CAT and was able to score as per CU criteria and I was an alumni of this college only so I was given preference, although the admission was done on merit basis. I also had to pay INR 1000 as the application fee while applying through the official website of the university.

I did my masters from Punjab Institute of Management and Technology and the level of education I got from the college was impeccable. It made me capable enough to successfully start and run and expand my business. I would definitely recommend my college for the sole reason of its precious academics and the supportive faculty. Though the campus life and extracurricular activities are also refreshing and memorable.

I think that our college is good an average. The fees are a bit expensive but feasible and they refund me the concession money for the semester and the hostel fees. I had fun with my friends and classmates too.

The admission process was very smooth. I contacted the college regarding the admission process and informed them that I graduated with a score of 7.8% and then I applied for the counseling and then my application was shortlisted. I chose an MBA course. I did not take any entrance exams.
