Remarks

There are good faculty and the best study materials for students. Teachers are too good always ready for help. I used the official website of college for any enquiry of admission and the site is given below PT. Lalit Mohan Sharma Government Post Graduate College Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. My admission Process was offline.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was a science student and also I like Mathematics that's why I choose this course. The faculty-student ratio is approx 100 to 160 student per class. Qualification of the faculty is all science group. The teaching method is too good. There is a semester system for exams.

Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no placement system in college. But the student can apply for the job selection after completing graduation or also post-graduation. The percentage should be good like more than 70 percent. My plans after getting the degree are for preparing PhD or B.Ed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable for any type of people because Fees is not so costly it is affordable. I didn't get any scholarship. Because I didn't apply for the scholarship. I didn't get a job in the campus.

Campus Life

Name of the Annual fest is Annual function of the college. There are many types of activities like Mehandi competition, rangoli competition, dance competition, debate, chart competition, drawing competition, makeover etc.

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

The curriculum follows kumaun University guidelines ensure standardization and recognition core subjects are well structured and concept curriculum should a include more practical exposure projects work and field work examination are conducted semester wise and generally twice year internal assessments include test assignments and practicals during the semester

Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

Likes

Social interaction with others in college is appreciable
Lab is fully equipped for experiments or practicals

Dislikes

Campus of our college is not too good and small
Absence of ac in library and other needed areas
Quality of infrastructure of classes is little bit poor

Placement Experience:

When one enters the final semester they become eligible for campus placement and many companies offers and discusses with them. Companies such as IGL, Vib care pharma, AVANTOR and many others visits every year with offers.

I like the hostel security and there are no ragging

Hostel food is not so good. Small hostel room

From 7 semester student are eligible for placement. There are various plywood industries and forest base non Timber industries and cricket industries. The highest average package is like 4.5 lakh per year.

Likes

I liked mostly the environment of my college. College. was situated in hills . So the peace , the environment, weather, education everything was perfect. The rooms , library, the field of our college
The education system of our college was good .I liked the most the education system every faculty was good and take responsibility of each students.the teaching was of faculty was superb . Every we understand easily. The also teach us on ppt .
Department of science,arts each department was available and a big auditorium for function parties was there. Each subject lab also there . lab instruments lso available

Dislikes

One thing was I disliked was due to cold weather or snowfall dec to february college is closed.
I disliked the book issue system it takes maximum time to get a book from my college.
The period was too long . Not only 1 hour it almost 2 hour classes.

I chooses the best course. Because my faculty was good I can ask him freely if I have any doubt. And it increases my interest in my subject. And the experiment we do make us progressive for our future. Yes but one thing I will say the duration of time period will be increase
