Likes

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for our department and subjects is still nott that great. It lacks industry level experience and we just study and not do practical analysis tahts why we're not funny industry ready now. If the proffessors can change it, it will be good.

Internships Opportunities

The intership provided right now are good most of the 2nd year and 3rd year student went for dinner and winter internship in iit madras and iit roorkee. The college also provides their own internships. Well done copmanies that came for placement are accenture, Jaro, tcs, Amazon etc

Placement Experience

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 17000 per semester which make it 135000 for the whole course. And it includes tution fee with seperate caution money which is 5000 and degree fee to be paid in 1st semester. The hostel is around 22000 each semester and 2000 mess caution money. And the fee includes 13000 of mess charges . Teh caution money is paid back after completion of degree

Campus Life

The overall campus life is good and well. There are many clubs and societies which host their workshops and progrmas on regular basis and we love it. Coz we meet new people form different departments and we have our own tech fest of computer science department "ENVISION" aslo the university hosts Annual Diwali and d Holi fest

Hostel Facilities

The mess and hostel of our college is not that great. I mean the food provided is just acceptable but not too good. Sometimes the food is unhygienic. The menu covers so much variety for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Also the infrastructure is good specially the new girls hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

The addmission process is easy we need to give college entrance exam to get admission. And also they uses jee mains exam score for student admission in btech. Then after giving college entrance exam we will be notified of our result on university website itself

Faculty

The faculty of our computer science department is good all professors are from reputed university and college. Th e quality education is not that good. It neede go be more industtry oriented. Also the exams are easy like we can pass exam if study well

Interview Experience

No for admission provides we're not sitting for any group discussion, interview or test. It was actually like we're selected via the college entrance exam which they conduct themselves. After the exam we're notified and we went for direct admission in the respective course.

Night Life

The night life of our campus is actually really p peaceful and quiet. Most of the student roam on campus street at night some alone done with friends. Some student play basketball in the basketball court. Done plays tennis or badminton in the indoor stadium too

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum follows kumaun University guidelines ensure standardization and recognition core subjects are well structured and concept curriculum should a include more practical exposure projects work and field work examination are conducted semester wise and generally twice year internal assessments include test assignments and practicals during the semester

Why it's the best...

Likes

They prioritize education and teaching more
Social interaction with others in college is appreciable
Lab is fully equipped for experiments or practicals

Dislikes

Campus of our college is not too good and small
Absence of ac in library and other needed areas
Quality of infrastructure of classes is little bit poor

Placement Experience:

When one enters the final semester they become eligible for campus placement and many companies offers and discusses with them. Companies such as IGL, Vib care pharma, AVANTOR and many others visits every year with offers.

Likes

I like the hostel security and there are no ragging
Good teachers and friendly. Helping us lot.
Good infrastructure and better environment..

Dislikes

Hostel food is not so good. Small hostel room

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester student are eligible for placement. There are various plywood industries and forest base non Timber industries and cricket industries. The highest average package is like 4.5 lakh per year.

Best College

Likes

I liked mostly the environment of my college. College. was situated in hills . So the peace , the environment, weather, education everything was perfect. The rooms , library, the field of our college
The education system of our college was good .I liked the most the education system every faculty was good and take responsibility of each students.the teaching was of faculty was superb . Every we understand easily. The also teach us on ppt .
Department of science,arts each department was available and a big auditorium for function parties was there. Each subject lab also there . lab instruments lso available

Dislikes

One thing was I disliked was due to cold weather or snowfall dec to february college is closed.
I disliked the book issue system it takes maximum time to get a book from my college.
The period was too long . Not only 1 hour it almost 2 hour classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chooses the best course. Because my faculty was good I can ask him freely if I have any doubt. And it increases my interest in my subject. And the experiment we do make us progressive for our future. Yes but one thing I will say the duration of time period will be increase

Aspects that i like the most is academic program, faculty expertise, and support and infrastructure and the aspects i don't like is outdated and inappropriate facilities
Participating in extracurricular activities
Volunteering for community service projects

Dislikes

Limited opportunity for socialization and campus involvement leads to isolation
Insufficient support for people with disabilities
Exclusively can create an unwelcoming environment for some students

I chose this college because it is close to my residence also being a state university it has some perks and benefits. I applied for the Delhi University and got admission in the Hindu college but i preferred this college being close to my residence....Read More
