Remarks
CU is one of the top Engineering colleges in Punjab and awarded A+ by NAAC, and it promote itself as Asia's fastest growing private University As it was established on 2012 and in this short span it has achieved lot. As it shows average package of 4-4.5 lacs for CSE but teacher's are not experienced as much not much Knowledge. Its admission process is by CUCET entrance exam and it provide scholarship of around 33 crs. Its CBSE criteria is 50-60 percent in 12th CBSE. CU provides the best placements as compared to collages I saw and it gives global exposure to the student there are 652 company who came to CU ever year.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE at CU is best among all other engineering courses and CU offers many specializations in CSE like Big data, AI and ML, gaming and graphics IoT, Cloud computing, Information security and mobile computing. The student to faculty ratio is around 25:1 .each group is assigned a mentor. Faculty has to pass through an interview and should have a relative degree and some experience in the field of teaching. Faculty are very friendly, supportive, involving and interactive. There are 2 MSTs and 1 end semester exam which are quite easy to pass.
Placement Experience
Placements at CU is the main reason for admission in CU. From 6th SEM student are eligible for Campus placements. Big names like MICROSOFT, IBM, TCS, INFOSYS, GOOGLE, MAHINDRA, WALT DISNEY etc comes to CU around 652 companies comes to CU every year which is a record at LIMCA book of records. 3000 offered were made in 2 months last year. Highest package of 35lacs and average is around 4 lacs. I want to go to the field of AI and data science and expecting a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure For CSE in CU is 80000 per sem for Core CSE and 95000 For CSE with specialization with BIG DATA, AI, IS. The fee remains constant for 5 years. Scholarship if given by CUCET exam.
Campus Life
There are many events at CU many popular Punjabi and Bollywood stars are invited for the events and there is an annual fest called CU fest which consists of many competitions like dancing, singing, stand-up, sports, coding etc which are very cool and indulging. Social life at CU is very fun as every festival is celebrated very eventfully. Books are available at the library whole year there are a variety of books and it should be renewed every 5-6 days after that charge of 1 Rs per day. There are many groups handled by Students like a coding club, girl script, social, sports etc.
