Remarks

I have lived my golden years in this college, I love every bit of it but it be frank it will not help students who are coming to join in future life , you have to fight hard and struggle luckily I got placed in one of the most reputed companies that came to our campus and went for internship keeping my degree at risk after repeated warnings from my Dean. In the end I managed everything and now I am at a decent job and settled but my friends are still struggling to get a platform and this is where I feel bad that even after investing so much amount people are wandering here and there for jobs. Lot of improvement is required which can be done from the top most bracket of people and I am sure college has all the potential to achieve what none of the other colleges have.

Entrance Preview

College had its own exam which I qualified. Got a decent rank and further picked up food technology as a subject choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum was good as per that time scenario but lacked proper infrastructure to support it. Practicals were less when compared to theory classes. No guest lecturer was invited and hence industrial exposure was pretty minimal. There was no option of any electives.

Internships Opportunities

No internship provision was provided, infact during our times we cannot even go out on industrial internships, we have to be present in the class and do our project from the institute.

Placement Experience

1

Placement is deteriorating day by day. During our times only 20-30℅ of the class got placed that too at a very low starting package. Prominent names were ITC, Reliance dairy. Package did not exceed 4 lakhs in any of the cases and went even as low as 12k per month. many student had to opt for Post graduate study or even changing the streams.

College Events

3

Technical and Cultural: Events are conducted and even students are send to different colleges but are very seldom and involves lot of politics. Management festivals was related to agri and happened once a year but participation was very bleak and no media coverage was there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is damn expensive, especially after comparing it with the post career benefits which one gets after graduating from this college. If you have a Jack or u belong to minority groups..then you can get some sort of fee waiver but it is not for general candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans facilities were there but we're not very prominent no scholarship for toppers only scholarship which was available was for religious minority students and some state scholarships.

Campus Life

2

Gender ratio is almost equal 60:40 male isto female and parties are frequent student diversity is vast, I haven't heard of any college who has students from all the states of india. Religion is Christian and normally people are straight politics is a big factor and there is always a competition between localities and hostilities.

Hostel Facilities

2

I have lived in 3 different hostels during my 4 years and average rent was 8-10 thousand per year which was way less than people living on rent in PG. Quality at first year hostel is pathetic but IH hostel.is decent and even the PG hostel electricity is a big problem which gets disconnected from 10-1pm daily and even now.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network was stared but we are not invited which makes it evident that they are not managing alumnis properly and not using their experience to help the current lot of students. If you interact personally seniors are pretty helpful but no effort is made by the college for the same.

Exam Structure

It was very chilled out. Exams were having a tough schedule, infact we have had 2 exams in a day sometimes. Labs were the drawback of the institute, many things we learnt after going in the industry. Labs had basic equipments most of them were not working. We had only 2 labs.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty was experiences but lacked basic knowledge and industrial exposure everything what was given to us in class was notes from some books. Few teachers were exceptional and because of them we learnt some basics barring few, all other teachers were from the same college after having completed their B.Tech and M.Tech degree from there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
