Life of a student in CU

When it comes to the good aspects of Chandigarh university is it has the best atmosphere with good infrastructure and surroundings. On campus, there is no ragging allowed and because of this seniors and juniors can be friendly to each other which helps a beginner in many ways. We can apply to this college in many ways like with our jee mains result or with our intermediate result online. I have applied to this college with my jee mains result by seeing this college on collegedunia website. The cse has good placements and has tie-ups with foreign universities. We can also choose to complete our M-Tech in foreign universities through Chandigarh university. The faculty here is good and friendly with students and supports them in every direction. Many companies like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, INFOSYS etc. comes to cu for campus placements and students can be in placements from 6th semester. The highest package for cse is 35 lakh and the average is 4.5 lakh.

I have chosen the CSE for its growth rate in this college. Chandigarh University has a good rate at placements for the CSE department. The students for the class are 70 members and had 15 sections and has 70:6 ratio. The faculty members are almost near to PhD level and have a good teaching method. There will 2 midterms and it is moderate level exams that cover everything acc to the syllabus.

There are many companies tied up with cu for their internship opportunities and we can intern for other counters to get our degree from them. The internships which are off campus are the best way to get notified from them by our skills and this helps in our placements to get placed easily.

Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus placements, big companies kike GOOGLE, AMAZON, MS etc. visits cu for placement drives and the highest package for CSE is 35k and average is 4-5lak from amazon last year. almost 90% of students get placed in their drives. we can choose to get tied up with foreign universities for our degree.

The fees for the semester is 80000rs and the scholarship is given (100%,50%,20%) according to there Jee-main result or their intermediate result. I have got a 50% scholarship through my jee main result and I am in the 6th semester and expecting placement in Microsoft.

The cu has best hostel facilities with gym and has sports complex for students. Chandigarh University has every cultural fest conducted on the campus every two months. And Chandigarh university has a wide library which has all department books in it and we can take with us for a week for studying purpose. Big fests like cu fest are conducted with many extra activities that student can perform.

Present there is a cu cat exam entrance exam with moderate level questions and also we can join this college by our jee mains result or intermediate result and earn our scholarship according to our result. Only one round entrance exam will be there for admission to this college.
