Remarks
I choose because agriculture sector is one the least chosen science in India but one doesn't think that this sector also need to grow like others. As we know due to the every day growing population in future we will have pandemic like scarcity of food, today many researchers are working on plants genetic engineering to make it more nutritious and healthy than the previous one. Many scientists had developed better varieties of the edible plants which have the potential to grow in a short period of time. In other countries Agriculture science is considered to be a good science but in India it doesn't holds much Importance among youths. My father is in the same profession means he works in IPM management department and I feel good follow him in the same profession after my study is complete.
Course Curriculum Overview
About the course and university I had already mentioned it above Faculties include the departments of Veterinary science, Home science, Fishery management, Horticulture department, Forestry department, College of Agriculture etc the associated departments are Dean office, halls for program held like dance, singing, quotes poems and lot more. The student ratio of girl: boys is 50:100 Professors are best in our University most of them have qualified J. R. F and S. R. F which are junior research fellowship and senior research fellowship and obtained some other degrees. Even some of them are awarded also in other countries. The term exams are very punctual and held timely. Our course is divided into 8 semesters and in each semester there are two exams to be held one is mid term exam and other one is final exam. Each semester is about of 6 months. Exams questions paper is having a set of multiple choice questions and other one is written. In my opinion no exam is hard until you have learned properly. University exams are a kinda how much have you learned some questions are left behind. Generally passing the exams not kinda difficult though. Placement Experience
About placement I don't know much because our University is one of the oldest in this Field of agriculture but the best. Few years back the placement were being held but at that time our university was holding no rank in the ranking position but this year our University got the accreditation so there is a chance of placement activity to be held.
College Events
Extracurricular activities are held timely and sportsmen are selected for various sports via selection activities according to various sports. Life at campus is always good as said College year are the golden days. Annual fest doest have a name simply as annual function. In India according to various occasions some fest are conducted generally every month. Availability of books and journals are much easier through the library. The library is kinda huge. Many social clubs are also present which are related to extension programme, self development and career guidance debates are held in the evening session.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is 25500 per head each semester. The cost of study is not too much high but the hike in fees was 3000 from the previous year. Until the last semester our university was not accredited by ICAR but this year we got our University accreditation. For scholarships we have to apply government based websites to get it. I have a student so I don't have any job. I am studying in 2nd year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility not so good for boys where ever you go. The rooms are average and the meals are not so bad the hostel staffs pays attention to our deals and helps to sort out the problem by complaining to the hostel warden for the issues we created.
Admission
Nope we all have to cleared the entrance exam for the admission in University. The admission in the university is generally through the entrance exams and according to the merit list we all got the admission.
