Pillias college panvel have a good infrastructure and good teachers they also have good social media events and sports activities i dont know any negative things about this college yet or i would have shared admission process was online like you fill your form online at mumbai university website after that u fill college form and keep checking your name when the merit list starts coming if your name is there in merit list click on login portal and pay the fees of the course to confirm your admission then after the last merit list ends go to college to confirm your addmisison with orignal documents thats it its website is https://pcacs.ac.in/

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because im intrested in technology and im more into gaming. Each division has around 60-70 students they are precise about their exams all examinations took place on time since now its online mode they took reexam of students who were not able to give them on first time i wont say its easy to pass if you study its easy but if u dont it is hard you womt understand anything, The teachers here are an excellent exaample of good behaviour and values they will try their best to teach you with much simplicity

Placement Experience

From sem 5 students get to their job opportunities companies like L&T, Wipro, Tata, jio, airtel, sony, canon and many more came for recuriting they had full camp setup there the highest package offeres was 3.5lakhs and the average was between 2.5-3 lakh and 80% studnets got the Placements for positins like back end dev and assistant scientist and many more.

College Events

Life is nice they have their own auditorium in which events are done its annual fest had shraddha kapoor and varun dhawan included, its library has good books such as coding with c Good mans will and many more, this college is best for sports such as football, kabbadi, and cricket it has its own instagram handle @pillias college

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my course is 31500 yearly and other coures like bsc cs is 33500 and bcom is like 15000 fees dont hike mostly there are scholarships for womens who are from backward class and low economy class they also give internship opportunites

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Practical classes are very interesting and help in visualizing human anatomy

No mess or canteen facilities are available in college
Sport ground is not too big and has less equipments
Boys Hostel is 6-7 km away from the college

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

Review for Pillai college of arts, commerce and science

I applied for SIES college of Navi Mumbai and also I got confirmation of admission in this college in 5th round but already in 3rd round my name came in pillai college. So I took pillai college and also it is near to me for travelling as compared to SIES college. Admission process is first of all we have to fill Mumbai University form online then we have to fill personal college form for selection of the course and the college form charge is 200rs, after the submission of form we have to wait for 1st,2nd,3rd list, their are only 3 list but in that also your name is not mentioned then you will get admission by donation. Pillai College : "A VIBRANT HUB OF LEARNING AND ACTIVITIES"

For the candidate to be eligible for pursuing a BSc computer science degree from PCACS needs to have passed 12th with mathematics as one of the subjects in their HSC and should have secured above 60% in their HSC exam. Application forms have to be collected from the college office and while submitting the application form candidate have to submit their documents that are specified by the college, no application fees is there and we have to collect the application forms when the admission dates are released on PCACS official website and have to submit before the date given for form submission and wait for the merit list to be released and then the admission fees paying process starts.
