Remarks
As it has reported maximum placements and it is also the fastest growing University I have ever heard. It has a good infrastructure with a good faculty all around. It caters with thriving research environment, advanced industry sponsored infrastructure and stimulating teaching aid. Our program covers all fundamental as well as advanced concepts of engineering and computing, paired with a chance to gain exposure in emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Computing, and Open Source and Open Standard.
Course Curriculum Overview
I basically have interest in computer related fields that's why I prefer this course. There are enough faculty members as to students like 1:10. They all have enough qualification. Most of the faculty members are Asst. Professor. The exams are scheduled timely and if we go for difficulty level it's medium.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year a student is eligible for campus placements. Wipro, Amazon, Texas, Tata, Google, Microsoft, Tata. The highest package offered was near about 45 lacs. Chandigarh University has reported the highest no. of placements in the last few years.
College Events
It has one of the best campus and also a good number of beneficiary clubs for the good and welfare of society. Around 65% of our students come from 28 Indian states, 7 Union Territories, and 30 Nations, so CU has a cosmopolitan, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere. As a student-centric University, Chandigarh University provides optimal learning experiences and services that lead to student success. The activities all the year-round include Cultural events, National and International conferences, Youth festivals, Freshers party, Visits of Bollywood and other eminent personalities. Moreover, other than this many activities are organized at the department level such as expert lectures, workshops, industrial visits, club activities, and ISR activities. Fee Structure And Facilities
It has a high fee structure but for the good it provides scholarship. The unlikable thing is that if you want to avail any other scholarship for your academics you'll have to score above 9 pointer.
Hostel Facilities
It's not that good but yes enough for a student to survive in college. They have facilities of 3, 4, 5 room set and also have a bed table chair and almirah for the students convenience. They have attached bathrooms in some of their hostels and price may vary as per the set of room members.
