Everything at GB Pant College

I was allotted this college as per my jee mains rank. It was a government college. The facilities are good and environment is calm. Facilities lack a little knowledge in CSE branch. Civil faculty and ECE faculty is not good. Mechanical and Electrical are very good in studies. The best thing here is that we feel close to the environment and we can study easily if you like being alone or not being disturbed. Hostels are not so good but yes you can adjust surely. Climate here is very cool. Winters are very harsh too be honest.

The CSE is in demand. High chances of getting placed even as an average student in studies. 1:3 is the faculty student ratio to my knowledge. The faculties are for sure highly educated. They have good degrees but the only thing is mlst of the teachers don't have a good methodology for teaching which makes hard for students to catch up. Though wifi helps so much. You can always look up on internet and YouTube and even library is available to you. We have 2 semester each year. Each semester includes two internals and one external. The total is taken for the result. If you study it isn't so hard to pass and college is autonomous and even government.

Students can opt for placement in there 7 th semester. TCS WIPRO always comes while other Microsoft and Adobe recruit only when they are called for placement by college. Placements here ar weak. Cse students have a chance here others don't have much. The highest package goes 800000 by tcs or wipro. Adobe recently gave 2400000 package. 30 students get placement from each branch. I am planning for the placement on and off campus and preparing for Gate exam as well.

There is one fest where are technical and cultural events take place. One sports event is also there. You can always go to other colleges to take part in there fests and the expenses are refundable. Library have books for your studies, though sometimes books aren't available but you can ask them to get the required book. Classrooms are not so good in CSE branch while other branches have good facilities. A social activity club is in the college which have many options for students to take part. Abhivyakti group is also there and coding events are also organised every week or frequently.

The fees is very genuine. You can get a quality education in very less amount. Tution waver is provided to students who have the highest rank in the branch during the admission. Reservation is provided in college to those who want and obviously you need certificate. Those financially weak and fulfilling the scholarship criteria can opt for it. Students who score good and has position 1-5 in branch gets 5000rs as a reward each semester.

Room contains a bed and cupboard. Meal is quite good though you could always go out and have outside. Girls aren't allowed outside hostel after 6:00pm. Hostel menu has variety includes breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. We have pranthas puri sabzi on days in breakfast. Lunch includes chawal daal sabzi salad roti dahi. Dinner also contains same. Weekdays includes specials. Hostel amd mess fees is given at the time of tution fees only.
