Remarks

The college is better than most colleges with similiar NIRF ranking. Because what we mastered in our first year are still being learnt by other colleges in first year. The quality of education is at par here. Also the view is super amazing. And since the number of students is less, we get full attention.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is at par. To be totally honest it can easily beat many famous named colleges. I have some friends in other College who don't even understand about the topic I am referring. the quality of course and curriculum is this high. The facilities are super friendly and you can always get their help.

Interned for MSME Business Forum - as Technical Head with a stipened of Rs2000/month.

Placement Experience

Amazon, Adobe, Byju, Zedd, wipro, tcs etc all visit the college. Adobe takes about 2-4 students, Adobe takes 1-2, rest all take basis of the performance and no of opening. But be rest assured the placements are done in a very good manner and there is lot of help provided.

College Events

Activities happen almost weekly in clubs and monthly basis for open for all. There are a lots of clubs to join. It is really a wonderful experience. The participation in all these events are quite large. The main activities are cultural day, technical expo and many others.

Campus Life

The library is of 3 floors and it quite massive. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the view is superb. The labs are also of good quality with updated techs. There are numerous labs - 16+. There are 4 gyms for the students also.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, the hostel facility is very good. The only disadvantage is there is no lift. And the hostel is of 10floors. although you get the hang of it but it is quite tedious. But the rooms are big, and comfortable. The cleaning is done on regular basis. Once a year the hostel is painted too.

A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

HODs of the college are good and well experienced as they are retired or done there masters from government colleges
Principle is also highly educated and good human being

Dislikes

They take lot of fees and not provide quality education
The infrastructure is bad and poor , no mentainance at all
Charge unnecessary fee , no computer lab , poor library, poor labs no equipment

They just teaches you to complete the syllabus only There are 1,2 term exams (MST) in a semester Honestly they repeats the PYQ but they fail all the students except few who gave answers in class and are their favourite

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

The college campus is a pretty nice place to explore and it's beauty will make sure to bring you close to nature

Everyone know that agriculture is of great importance and it's worth is increasing on a daily basis and opting for this course helps to learn various scientific methods to allow in the improvement of the traditional farming methods. With the help of agriculture extension.. these technologies are provided and being taught to different farmers and stakeholders. This course also allows us to get the practical knowledge by different field works.

i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.
a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
faculty is also nice they are doctors so learning from their experience come in handy

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses

I loved the beautiful view out here the different varieties of flowers, Greenery , this university also held many kinds of club like socal club, eco friendly club and many more
I like that this university always take care about nature beauty they grow many trees for oxygen
They also serve society provide basic needs to poor people also running a club for poor people donate them food, shelter and clothes

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty of this university like they never co-operate with childrens they come and complete their duties and go
They only take care about there repo they don't care about students here half of the boys drink alcohol they just ignore them and move to next
Teacher have no sense of talking with students they behave like trash I'm very disappointed with this university at first they show their image like a clear paper but after entering there i came to know the real image of this university

Course curriculum is zero they never show any kind of efforts in teaching our exams were going on and one subject teacher just send notes and said Learn it and write exams like she never attended class not even one class business studies teacher just come teach give homework and go and next day come and ask questions if students don't know answer just say them to get out from the class is this the way to talk with students they are not their servents never ask if they have any kind of doubts and maths teacher just write question and their solution and read that solution students come here to learn something but they behave like trash

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
