This college is nearest college from my home town, I heard many good things about this college from the people who did engineering from this college. So I also decided to go for this college. I attended their one of the exam to get the seat. I also checked all the previous records of theirs on website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Computer Science Engineering in this college due to their placement records, I had conversation with my seniors and they guided me to take CSE in this college. There is one teacher for every 40 students. Teaching method is good, they provide PDFs of their lecture. All the staff are highly educated.
Internships Opportunities
I heard about the internships in the college. One of our Senior Mohit Kumar Got internship in Google, I got the news from the Facebook Page of University. many local companies also come for giving the Internships.
Placement Experience
I heard that campus placement is good and this is NAAC accredited college. I also heard that this college is NIRF approved. Just because of high placement I have chosen this college. One of our senior got placed in Amazon with package of 31.5Lacs. That was huge, I saw his name "Deepak Yadav" on University website and their their social media.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee of this college was in my budget. I had discussed with my parents and they said to take admission in this college only due to of course it's location and their fee structure. They also offer scholarships on merit basis and also have an entrance exam named CUCET, if you pass that exam , You will get 100% fee waiver. For full fee waiver,You need to score in between 90 to 1200.
Campus Life
Social life in Chandigarh University is out of the world, as everyone knows, the campus area is very big, so many celebrities come to this university also. Classroom have proper system and library is too good, there are thousands of book, journals available in the library. I used to sit in reading room. The atmosphere is quite wonderful here.
Hostel Facilities
I have selected the Hostel. Hostel life is too good, I selected 4 seater room here, the people are good. We have reading rooms also in the hostel, rooms are big and windy, I got one chair, study table and an almirah also. I also find the mess food very good. Food is tasty and hygienic.
Interview Experience
There is no group discussion for the admission procedure. I had only given a entrance test which was conducted by Chandigarh University. The questions of that exam was based on my 12th syllabus and there was aptitude questions also. So I was very okay with that, I prepared a lite and cracked the exam to get the admission.
