Remarks

I joined this college because of the interactions I had with the admissions team. They made me comfortable by clearing all my doubts regarding faculty, placements, facilities. My main criteria were to join a college with an excellent growth story which would be my identity in the future. I was convinced that IIM Nagpur was the fastest-growing institute among the 3rd generation IIMs, so It was a logical choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well-defined course structure and the faculty members had enough experience to teach us the best possible curriculum. A few guest professors from old IIMs are an added advantage to the institute. Overall it was a great learning experience, the case-based pedagogy was really helpful.

Course Fees: INR 675000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the placement committee will help the students with internships and live projects. Roles from different domains and industries will be offered to the students. Typically the summer placement season will start from September. Again the institute has a record of achieving 100 % summer placements for all its batches.

Placement Experience

The placements in the college are student-driven, the student placement committee is responsible for managing placements season. The college has the record of having 100% placements since its inception for all five batches. The average package of the latest batch is 13.13 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 13,75.000 for this year. Special need-based scholarships and other government scholarships are available. Any bank would grant a loan to a candidate with a good credit profile just by submitting the admission offer.

Campus Life

Everything was great. Probably once we move to the new campus next year, things would be better. Sports tournaments like Rhapsody will make your life easy on campus. The cultural committee will make sure that we don't miss home during festivals. Overall it will be a cherishable experience.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility was included in the college fee and we have a single shared hostel room. It has all facilities including washing machines. The mess is managed by the student mess committee so, it will always be favourable to the students.

Interview Experience

Yes, The PI was taken by our former Director. It was a different experience. Overall I liked it. WAT and PI process was offline, it was a separate process for IIM Nagpur. Questions were related to current affairs and my profile.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. I chose IIM, Nagpur over other colleges because the alumni network, faculty and the perk of scholarship. I didn't get into TISS, may be I did not focus properly in my exams due to too many distractions. The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. I got a call from every IIM for flagship PGP - MBA apart from IIM A and IIM B. Based on my score of IIM C and IIM K, I got direct admission to IIM Nagpur for the 2018-20 batch.
