Entrance Preview

I have written JEE Mains 2014 in which I scored 130/360 and my boards marks are 95/1000 . College conducts admissions based on the percentage scored in boards marks and (2) JEE marks. I joined through JEE marks in All India Category rank which I got 1600.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course mainly concentrates mostly on the theory classes and less on practical classes. Hardly you will get 2-3 labs per week. less Industry exposure.Labs are based on traditional methods and not are equipped with new technology.

Internships Opportunities

No, to my knowledge, our college does not provide any Internships in the campus. Even the summer vacation holidays will be around 30 days. Most of the internships will be around 45-60 days. So, most of the good internships are missed because of the working days.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are good for less than 5% of the students who are with exceptional CGPA. Remaining all other students irrespective of the branch are placed in software companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fee for us is 45000 INR. Exam Fee is 1500 INR per semester. for the upcoming juniors, the fee structure is 50000 per semester and there will be an increase in 2500 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is offered by CUB(city union bank) and PNB(Punjab National Bank). The students who are in the top 2% in CGPA of their respective branch will be given 16000 INR. Those who have good hostel attendance and good CGPA (above 8.0) can get 10000 INR as refund for mess fee.

Exam Structure

There are 3 Mid-Semesters called CIA (continuous Internal Assessment) which would be conducted mostly once in a month. 2 exams are conducted each day during the CIA which is generally burden to most of the students. Each semester has 90 working days. 1 exam is conducted a day during the semester exams. Internal marks are given for a maximum of 50 and external marks are given for a maximum of 50.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty has good knowledge but they don't expose it much. you need to approach them to gain good knowledge. Some of the faculty has Ph.D's with good excellent skills and majority of them will be having M.Tech degree's who are from within the state and so, lacking in communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
