Remarks
I chose this college because of its rankings such as NAAC A+ and Limca Book of Record holdings. It is also recognised by many of my seniors due to its advertisements. It is a student-friendly university. It has a lush green campus and an amazing infrastructure. It also has many tie-ups with International universities across the globe. It is having many scholarship schemes which makes it an excellent university. I personally did not encounter any drawback about the university. The admission is on a merit basis and one can appear in its exam called CUCET and gain scholarships up to 100%. This exam is held in different phases across the year. I preferred this college over others due to its easy admission criteria and placements. I must say, in this university, students get what they really deserve. I selected this college by visiting Quora, Youtube and having a word with my seniors.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently pursuing Computer Science & Engineering. This course is currently the hot cake item in every field. It has better job opportunities with decent packages. In our university, the student: teacher ratio is prominently good. In a class of 100 students, there are 3 groups containing approx 30 students each with different teachers. Can't say about the qualification of teachers but I'm pretty sure they know everything we need to know. Teachers are helpful and friendly. In covid times, the teaching process is still amazing in the virtual model. Academic calendars are issued at starting of the semester and is followed strictly. Passing is all about your knowledge. In fact, it is truly a student-friendly ecosystem.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty much good. Companies in large nos. visit the campus. Companies that come for recruiting engineering students include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, SAP Labs, VMWare, HP, Deloitte, Cognizant and many more giants. Other branches also include dream companies. In the session 2019-20, the highest package that was offered was Rs. 35LPA. One can imagine how big the number is. A total of 691 companies visited and made 6617 placement offers to CU students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is pretty much less than other comparing colleges. In addition to this, there are numerous scholarship schemes that can be viewed by visiting its official website. It is affordable for the ones who are seeking admission to private universities.
Campus Life
There are fests that are organised by the college. Since I have not visited the campus, I cannot comment on fests but I'll update it with time. There is a large library with all the books required for our need. Classrooms are spacious. There are sports in the college for every student who is interested in it. There are many clubs and you'll find great help by joining them. I personally know a technical society named HACKOVERFLOW TECHNICAL SOCIETY and there are many clubs related to every field.
