Remarks
As I live in Chandigarh I prefer finding a college near the city instead of moving out somewhere so I found the Chandigarh University beat amongst all I found out nearby in terms of placements in terms of infrastructure and also the student they provide. That's why I chose cu to get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had an interest in computer science and also the facilities and quality of education cu provide is quite great. And if we talk about the faculty: student ratio in this lockdown and online classes we are approx 100 students in a class but in the offline classes, there were 50 to 60 students in a class approximately.
Placement Experience
As I am in the 4th semester now so I don't have much knowledge about campus placements but as I know one is eligible for campus placements at end of the 6th semester and some of the companies that come in the campus for recruitment are industry giants like Amazon, IBM, cognizant etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my course, that is BE-CSE the fees is 80000 per semester and if we talk about there are so many by which one can avail scholarship from 10 to 100 percent like the cucat exam or on the basis of marks in the board exams or any entrance test in which you have appeared and all.
Campus Life
There are so many fests that go on on the campus but the biggest and the best of all is CU-fest that's the thing one will always regret missing. Like one cannot attend each and every event of this fest because approx 18-20 events take place at the campus at one time in different places on the campus. And almost 200 total events take place during the whole fest.
