Remarks

The good aspects of the Institute include NCL philosophy which comprises spirituality, Admap, PG Lab, Abhudaya, and DOCC. Its faculty team is composed of professors from the field of academia, the industry as well as government & nonprofit organizations. The campus is yet another exclusively positive thing about SPJIMR. The bad aspects comprise of lesser cultural fests if compared to other B-schools. The college accepts scores of CAT and GMAT. The overall cut-off for both the exams is 85%ile and the sectional cut-off is 75%ile. I preferred SPIMR over others due to its location and placements. I referred to many online portals one of which was Collegedunia. I found it very helpful. I was confused among so many reviews however, on collegedunia I could find richer reviews as they were all given by the alumni themselves.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is comprised of 6 terms- 3 in each year. Prior to the commencement of term 1, students are sent PRE-MBA study material to touch upon various cliffs we are about to study in our 2-year programme. Second-year consists of specialization subjects, an 8-week corporate project as well as 3 weeks of International Immersion program. Students are offered autumn internships unlike summers as it starts from the very end of the third semester itself. The student-faculty ratio is 17:1. The faculty includes excellent research scholars and business experts. The exams are held on a very timely basis.

Internships Opportunities

5

100% of students are placed in the 8-week autumn internship. 81 students were offered PPOs. The major recruiters include Accenture Strategy, Flipkart, HUL, Nestle, Nomura, Reliance, P&G, etc. The average stipend offered has remained around Rs2.46 lakhs and the highest stipend offered is around Rs3.56 lakhs.

Placement Experience

5

100% of students get placed in the final placements. 122 recruiters visited the campus for recruitments. Most alumni work in the business development sector. The recruiters' pool includes KPMG, L& T, Accenture, HUL, Bank of America, Airtel, Adani, Google, Amazon, Loreal, P& G, Aditya Birla, Axis Capital, etc. The highest package stands around Rs51.01 lakhs. The median salary offered is Rs 26.89 CTC. The median package stands around 25 lakhs CTC. The lowest offered package stood around Rs15.08 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is Rs17.80 lakhs (Lump-sum). It is subject to change. The total cost of study may go up to Rs19.10 lakhs. 100% of students bag autumn internships and around 31% convert their internships into PPOs. There are fee concessions that students can apply which are available as per State Government. Loans are available on a mortgage-free basis up to Rs20 lakhs.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest OJAS a cultural fest that occurs in the month of January, SPRINT- a sports event, and Dhandha- a corporate event. The students have access to 24* 7 wireless connections, an IT center, amphitheater, botanical garden, playing fields, cultural events, and a scenic lake. Library, e-books, and case studies from Ivy league Institute are also provided to students.

Interview Experience

5

SPJIMR consists of WAT followed by a Psychometric test which is followed by two group interviews. The duration of the WAT + Psychometric test is 30 minutes. The word limit for WAT was 300 words. In the psychometric test, there were 20 questions with two sets of questions named group 1 and group 2. In group PI, I had 3 panelists in which were its alumni. The duration of each group interview was around 20 minutes. We were asked if we had our meal? Do I believe in destiny? Can destiny beat hard work? Do you know about Abhyudaya of our course curriculum? If I were to give advice I would say read really well about the Institute and stay vigilant of the recent tidings.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
