Remarks

Good aspects include its location, faculty, pedagogy and placements. The bad aspects include fewer annual fests and hectic sessions. I preferred SPJain over other colleges due to its good aspects. The admission process includes scores of CAT and GMAT, overall profile, work experience, achievements and versatility as well as academic performance. The overall cut off for both the entrance exam is 85%ile. The application starts from the month of September itself.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course has 6 terms-3 in each year. In the first year students are taught core subjects, as well as few electives and the second year, consists of specialization subjects, an International Immersion program called Global Fast Track Program as well as internships. The Global Fast track Program occurs in association with Cornell University, Michigan State University and Mellon University. The student-faculty ratio is 17:1. The faculty is rich and erudite.

Internships Opportunities

5

100% of students obtain the 8 weeks autumn internships. The average stipend offered is around 2.4 lakhs and the highest stipend offered is around 3.45 lakhs. The key recruiters are KPMG, Asian Paints, Google, Flipkart, Swiggy etc.

Placement Experience

5

Key recruiters include Airtel, Reliance Jio, Adani, Aditya Birla, Axis Capital, ICICI Bank, Nestle, L'oreal, HUL, Google etc. The highest package offered is Rs 59.12 lakhs. The average package is Rs 25 lakhs approximately. The median salary remains around Rs 27 lakhs.132 companies visited the campus for recruitment and the entire batch got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are Rs17.89 lakhs. The cost of study may go up to Rs 19 lakhs. The loans are easily available up to 20 lakhs. The moratorium period offered by most of the banks is 2 years. 100% fee concession is offered to students to achieve more than 96% in MET.

Campus Life

5

The campus is spread over 45 acres. It has a beautiful botanical garden and lake as well. I spent most of the time at either lake, Yogakutir or chill at spice n spoon. The committees included Industry Integral Committee, Alumni relations committee, Participation Board etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

The university gives you a great exposure to shape up your life for a great future. There's absolutely no racism and everyone is treated equally. This is the only institute in pune where girls and boys are found in almost equal numbers. In fact girls are encouraged to become entrepreneurs.
