Entrance Preview

Entrance exam-AIEEE, I opted this college because this college is government college. I got this college through central counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

This electronics and communication branch is a good branch but in this college the course structure is not very much good which focuses on research. Basically I can say that there were very few professor of that quality who taught in that manner because of that students would think of the research.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provided six months internship. And stipend depend upon the companies. Means you would get stipend in which you are going through internship.

Placement Experience

3

Placement and job opportunities were average at that time. Most of the students from computer science, electronics and communication and mechanical engineering were placed at that time. And the companies in which students got placements were Infosys, escorts, Idea, Sonalika, Honeywell etc.

College Events

4

Our course duration was of four years and there were so many cultural events celebrated in the college. The very first event that was held on the college was freshers party that was only for first year and second year students and very important for first year students. And after that there were so many cultural festival and technical festival every year celebrated.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship facility were offered by college for students for those who got first three position in any semester examination for every branches. But I did not availed that scholarship. But I availed scholarship through government for two years.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was very good without any doubt. We people enjoyed very much in the campus during all the four years of college life. Gender ratio were different in different branches. In computer science and inforation technology branch gender ratio was almost equal. In biotechnology girls ratio was more than the boys. And in chemical and ECE boys are more than girls but there were no girls in mechanical.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs were not too hectic or not too chilled out. At the time of examination, the exams were held with one or two days gap between two exams date in which we got good time to prepare for next exam. Labs was also on the gap of one day. And sometimes there were two labs also in the same day.

Faculty

3

Faculty of the particular courses are well qualified but very few faculty were there who gave their hundred percent to make anything understandable to the students. Almost ninety percent of faculty were well qualified but only few were able to make courses easy for the students.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
