Ram Lal Anand College is quite a good college and doesn't judge any college based on its ranking. Faculty is very good, societies are also very active but college needs to take care of infra. RLA comes under the main south campus which means there will be no accomodation problem for students. I chose this college over Ramanujan because of the accomodation and faculty. My first-day experience in this college was good as we can say the first impression is the last. According to my, a college's ranking is based on students but RLA students are not active in anything. They are neither interested in studies nor curricula. I took admission to this college in third cut off and it was a 3 days process, at that time we have to visit the college with all our documents.
I was most interested in doing BCom Hons as compare to any other course. If you want to pursue CA in the future you can choose BCom Hons as most of the subjects are the same. There are almost 60 students in the class. The faculty is very good and active. They try to give their best while teaching. There are 2 semesters in each year and exams are not very difficult to pass, you've to start studying one month/ 15 days before the exams and you will get a pass with good scores.
Companies provided internships are whitehatt junior, Blitzjobs, gaotek, sharekhan and many more which give a stipend of around Rs 5000/month. Roles offered by most of the companies are HR, sales and marketing, content writing.
Third-year students can apply for placements whereas first and second-year ones can apply for internships. Around 25-30 companies visited our college for internships and 90% of the students get placed. Many of them are paid internships also. The highest package from our college is around 8-10 lpa. I will pursue MBA after graduation and our college also provides CAT coaching at very reasonable rates.
Our course fees are Rs. 12000(approx) which is affordable and they are also providing a desktop for each student in college for practical subjects. In the library also you can get the latest edition books related to your subject. You can get internship and campus jobs with a stipend with is not only based on your college knowledge but you have gain other skills as well.
Our college annual fest name is Splendour and commerce society fest name is Zeus. All the fest are conducted between mid-February and late March. You can get the latest edition books in the library based on your subjects. The college provides different common rooms for both boys and girls. The college supports every sport and provides the necessary equipments for everything. There are many societies in our college and all are very active. There are many groups and clubs which are run by our college students. Many students are also running their startup

Accomodation problem and faculty is not good
Since I'm in first year I don't have any idea how placements work but yeah as much as I heard from my seniors mostly everyone gets place here and last year the highest package was 20.5 LPA so you all can easily imagine how cool the placements are gonna be.
Students from final year are eligible for full time job placements . Every year the big 4 visit the campus as a part of placement drive . As seen from my experience and knowledge of this companies like Larsen and toubro , wipro , hcl , they have visited the campus. Around 50-60 percent students will get placed. If I talk about my plans I would sit for placement but some of my classmates have other plans like ca , MBA , government exam etc. . So this is totally a personal preference, however you will get ample opportunities to explore your path .
Students are eligible for placements from 4 the semester. The placements provided by our college is very good. Almost 70% of students are placed from our college and good companies come to recruit from our college. The average package offered by our college is around 3-4 Lacs. Amazon, Bosch, Tata and HCL are top recruiting companies for our course.
Placement Cell of our College i.e OPUS is not that active. Good Companies rarely come for internships as well as for Job Opportunities. There is an annual internship and job fair organised but still average companies come. Students become eligible for campus placements from second and third year of College. Companies that visited in the last two to three months are Stand We Speak, Mindforce Research, Orbis etc. Offers were mainly in the field of Content Writing, Primary Research Associate etc. Highest Package was of 15.15 Lakh. Average Package lies between 3 to 5 lakh. Approximately 50% students get placed and the rest 50% opt for higher studies. My plans after getting the degree is to do MBA in Finance.
To offer placement facilities, The college maintains a placement cell that aims to connect students with budding employers by the way of internships and job opportunities. Around 60% of the students get placed by various companies like Genpact Banking, Insurance, Myntra, GIF Keyboards, Amazon, Redmi, Niti Ayog Internship Team, Internship as Translators, Google, Girl Healthy Foundation, and many more.
