Remarks

After completing my Higher Secondary exam I enrolled for NSEC as I have applied for BCA so from my point of view NSEC is good for BCA its faculty is good and it has an anti-ragging community so it has much more student security than other colleges. I have enrolled in the year 2018 month July and I have joined the college in June. At my time I didnt give any kind of entrance exam but after that CET exam has started and now it is compulsory. I personally prefer this college for this good faculty and anti-ragging campus and it's also good for BCA education.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it's my dream to work in the application domain so I enrolled for BCA. Our college faculty is very good all the teachers are well experienced and they are very attentive to the students also and each of our BCA years consists of an average of 60 students. Semester exam is taken every 6 months and besides that internal exams are also take for the study purpose.

Course Fees: INR 202000 per year

Placement Experience

In BCA students are eligible for on-campus exams after the 4th semester is over in our college many wells reputed IT companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, LTI and many other companies also came to our campus. In BCA salary package is between 2 to 3 LPA. Every year atleast 20 students are placed in those companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

BAC is a 3-year course and it grants a total of 202000 INR and it consists of 6 semesters and per semester 32000 INR is granted and with that 1200 INR is taken as the exam fees. Form our colleges a student can have many job opportunity on-campus jobs are there and many well reputed IT companies also visit our college and one can also apply for scholarships and internships the college placement faculty will inform whenever it's ready to apply.

In college annul fest and tech fest is celebrated every year and all the departments are invited to that fest. our college has a normal book library and also a digital library. class is good many class have a projector for better understanding of studies. sports are celebrated every year and with that other activities also like blood donation, tree plantation, art exhibition, etc.

From fifth or 6 semester is present become eligible for campus placement. There is no company visited in our college. The highest package of our college is 32 LPA and the average package of our college is 4LPA. 82.7% MCA

My IEM

Likes

Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.

Dislikes

Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Safe atmosphere - No ragging, ensuring a positive environment

Dislikes

distance issues - 5-7 minutes walk from the station
Lack of eateries - No restaurants or cafes nearby
No direct private vehicles available; they are available only on extra payment

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Likes

Practical exposure to learning, good internship opportunities, exposure to trained industry professionals
Well-equipped labs and training/learning facilities
Sustainable infrastructure and campus design

Dislikes

Limited library resources and heavy dependency on e-books, with a mismanaged book rental system
There are some blocks which need better connectivity features, frequent jamming occurs there

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
