Remarks

I was allotted a seat in Computer science and engineering in this College and I was happy to be a part of a college which in Is Winning the Smart India Hackathon for the past 3 years. The College has a Clean Campus and the Infrastructure is also too good. The College takes Admission through UPSEE counseling and as well as Direct admissions. I personally found this College through Reviews on CollegeDunia.com The reason I prefer this College over others is That of the Teaching Staff and The well-developed Centers of Excellence labs.

Course Curriculum Overview

The College follows Course Curriculum According to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. There are Faculties of strength about 50-100 and They belong to Different departments. The Student Ratio is Also good enough. The faculties are PHD in their Core Subjects and teach very Effectively. The Term exams are held timely every month and The End Semester Exams are held every 5 months as mentioned by the University in their Schedule.

Placement Experience

The placements in my College start from 3rd Year onwards. A lot of people join for Internships from Many popular companies. Also, some Students grab a good Stipend from Internships. Also, Placements in our college are quite Good. It totally depends on the Student how well he/she performs. Packages vary from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs. Companies like Tcs, Accenture, Netprophets, Capgemini, Infosys, etc visit here. Last few years Amazon also visited for placement as well. Nearly 70-80 % of students get placed successfully and a few opt for further studies. After getting a degree I plan to go for further studies abroad in Germany.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees are nearly Rs1,09,000 for Day scholars and nearly 2,20,000 for Hostelers. This Year due to COVID-19 the College has not given A hike in the fees even many types of Fees like the Logistics fees were Removed. The College itself Provides a Discount in Tuition Fees for Students who grab 85+ percentage on their Year basis. Also, there are a lot of opportunities to earn a stipend based on Internships.

Campus Life

The Campus is Good and full of greenery. There is a Separate Cafeteria Area for Students where there are 2 Well developed shops for Food/Snacks and A Stationary in the College accessible from 8 am to 6 pm. A good Sports Ground for Cricket, Basketball Court, and Volleyball Court. There are a lot of Clubs in the College and may vary from Department to Department. Like in my Department ie. CSE department there is a Rubix Club, Developer Student Club ABESIT, etc.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Encouraging more internship and training opportunities for students.
Expanding campus activities and facilities for overall development

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%
