Course Curriculum Overview

5

I opted for Computer Science Engineering as my career's choice because this field fascinates me. The Faculty members are very helpful and even friendly. Extra classes are being taken along with the doubt clearing sessions. Satnam Singh Sandhu is the chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr R.S Bawa is the Pro Chancellor. Most of the faculty members Academic Qualification is PhD. There is a good faculty to student ratio and each class has the size of 40. Per Semester 2 MST's are being taken which are of 40 marks and one practical MST is being taken as well and then the Final Examinations are taken and it is not difficult to pass the exams because before exams our doubt- clearing sessions are held which helps in increasing the confidence of the students. Every month one MST is taken and within 15 days the results are declared. The teaching methods used by the faculty members are very fascinating and they make us learn through practical examples. Faculty members even help with the Assignments.

Interview Experience

4.5

I personally sat for written kind tests and I cleared it along with that some basic questions were also asked from me which I was able to give answers for and mainly I got Admission on the basis of my percentage. But the written tests which are taken for the Admission process are very easy and one can easily crack the test all the questions which are being asked by the teachers are related to your field only. If you have the proper knowledge of your particular stream then you can easily without any stress sat for the test and can easily crack it.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
