College for Real Education.

There is nothing bad i can say about my college.But i can provide some suggestions try to incorporate latest technologies and subjects in the curriculum, Keep the hostels cleaned and painted every year provide internet facility in hostels too.

I got admission into this college through EAMCET -2009 by securing a rank of 730 . I wanted to join mechanical because of my interest towards automobiles and also keeping in mind future scope of those branches. JNTUK is one of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh with a history of around 60+years and every student would be proud to be a part of this great alma mater.

The course mainly concentrates on basic knowledge of the subject ,but what i felt after completing my graduation is many other universities are adding latest technologies and subjects like nuclear engineering etc in their curriculum but we are lagging in that.

JNTUK runs MSIT programmes in collaboration with Countries like USA, Sweden .It adopts a distinct learning by doing a pedagogy by blending technical aspects and practical nuances.

Joining in JNTU will definitely fetch you job this is a well known fact to every one. most of the students are taken by IT companies and a good number get core jobs too. Major companies like TCS, WIPRO , CAPGEMINI,DELL, INFOSYS, CYIENT,ITC,L&T, NFCL visit the campus and offer good packages ranging from 3 to 8 lakhs.

JNTU is well known for its balance in both education and cultural environment. Apart from education every department conducts a national level technical symposiums and many participants from different colleges across india come and showcase their talents. It has a very good physical education department and a huge stadium for practising games like cricket, shuttle badminton volleyball, basket ball, kho-kho, kabaddi etc.

The fee structure is 10500 per year which is feasible for every student. more over scholarships and government help is also present.No other charges are levied other than the tuition fee. For every semester exam we need to pay an amount of Rs600 extra for writing exams.

College does not offer any scholarship or loan facility. students who have scored good marks in their intermediate will get BIEAP scholarship and students of backward castes and economies will get SBMS scholarship.

Campus is fabulous it is a 99 acre mango farm , you will find mango tress everywhere and amidst them are your class rooms and hostels. Campus life is very good, you will find social culture every where .no gender bias and NO RAGGING you will find a senior and junior behaving as close friends.

Hostel facilities are very good. Freshers will have a separate hostels and mess. Girls hostel is very well protected and strict with timings and other things. Food is above average and hostel rooms are sufficient enough to accommodate 3 persons easily.

Alumnus meetings happen once in a while and they share their experiences with us ,if any of them are settled and have companies they even offer jobs for worthy students. Seniors are the best people to guide in any college and you will find exactly the same here.

Exams consist of Internals and Externals. There will be 4 internal exams out of which average of top 2 scores will be taken as internal score. Max marks for internals is 20. and an external exam for 80 marks per subject and 75 marks for labs.there are a total of 7 semesters.

Faculty are well seasoned with a deep knowledge of subject. Every one of them work for some or the other government projects this clearly proves their mettle. They are friendly in nature at the same time very strict regarding classes.It is a wonderful experience to learn subject from such professors with great knowledge and grip over subject.
