Remarks

I have choosen this college because its fees are slightly less compared to the other colleges and placements are good for the IT and CSE branches. The average salary package 6-7 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 32 LPA by Microsoft. And infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available 24x7 on campus. All the teachers're a good level of experience. Taking about admission, I took admission in Sep 2020, due to covid, my admission was based on the marks of 12th and I got 15 per scholarship. I learned about this college from youtube.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I took computer science engineering with a specialization in the internet of things. I have choosen this course because of the high demand in the digital world everything is going online connected to the internet like a smart bulb, cars, home and many things and these days everything is connected to the internet. There are two groups in our section and 36 students in both groups. All the teachers have a lot of teaching experience. They're friendly and provide quality education. Students are free to ask their own doubts many times. In theory subject, there are two most (mid-semester test) and In practical subject one mst and then the final exam.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, Chandigarh university offer internships. 1. International summer internships:- In this summer program students have the opportunity to make up their college curriculum. Instead of reading about that masterpiece in an art history book, go and see it. Intern abroad and gain international business experience for international business class. 2. Volunteer internships:- The office of the international relations program offers this outstanding volunteer internship for university students. Volunteer interns are recruit year-round on a semester basis, and all-volunteer internships are filled on a rolling basis. and there are also more programs for internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing B.tech in computer science engineering with a specialization in the internet of things. My course fee is 95000 per semester. I'm in my first year. I got 15 percentage scholarship based on my 12th class mark.

Campus Life

4

When we talk about Infrastructure Chandigarh University offers almost all the facilities which every student want. There is free wi-fi available on campus. Labs are well-maintained. There is a well-organized and large library for studying with lots of books related to every field and an E-library available too and everything is well-maintained.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh university | Computer science engineering with specialization in internet of things

My main reason for taking admission in this college is that its fees are slightly less than other colleges and universities.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
