Remarks
At Chandigarh University, big companies are visiting like amazon, Microsoft, IBM TCS, etc. Currently, I am in 1st year I found that our university gives you lots of pressure in case of assignment, project, fee, and right know everything is online our university complete my 1 semester in just 2 months and 2nd in just 4 months but we are not able to learn anything that's very bad things.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of the current demand of the market. In this course, you get a good package but you have to work hard also. In my college, the ratio of the student is too high in my branch 5000 approx students. Some faculty are good and some are bad like another college it depends on your luck. But up to I found that the main subject faculty (programming) is not good and others are good.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college gives you the opportunity for an internship every summer vacation and most of the companies participated in it. The company's role in it like IBM, TCS, WIPRO, etc. But not like iit or nit you have to extra other than college for placements because there are lots of student in each branch.
Placement Experience
The campus placements of Chandigarh university is too well most of the biggest company visit in our campus but they recruit few students from our college. The company visits our campus like Amazon, Deloitte, IBM, Google, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the university depends on your course but I want to say that they give you scholarship based on cucet, Jee, 12 marks but you have to maintain at least 7.5 scgpa for maintaining scholarships but I found they give a bad result in 1st semester, 2nd semester to reduce your scholarship.
Campus Life
Currently, I am 1 st year student due to covid-19 I do not visit the campus but most of my friends visit the campus they say the campus is too big and beautiful. I found in my college the extracurricular are organized every week infact right know everything is online my college organize Dance competition, singing competition, etc online.
Hostel Facilities
Currently, I am in my 1st year due to covid-19 I am getting this opportunity to visit the campus but from my senior when talking about the hostel they say hostel facilities are better than another college. Here you find lots of hostel-like zakhir, NC, LC, etc hostel facilities also depend on which hostel allotted to you. Zakhir is the best one.
Interview Experience
You can get Admission in cu direct, or n the basis of Cucet, JEE, 12 marks. In cucet exam, they ask simple questions you can easily get some scholarships. I want to suggest you please try to get admission in IIT, nit,gfti, or some good college like Anna University, VIT, BITS if you are not able to get admission in this college then choose cu in cu you find lots of partialities.
