Remarks
University seems to be amazing in terms of placements, recently students were placed in amazon, IBM and many more. Also, multiple mass recruiters like tcs, hcl came for hiring. Admission, here is done on the basis of 12th percentage , mains results and also its own examination called CUCET. There were many senior friends of mine from whom I asked about the university and they told me about that there is definitely a high scope in CSE stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are multiple reasons why one can choose a particular course for example in my case I chose for CSE because I was having a huge interest in it from 12th only, so a student can choose their favorite stream on the basis of their interest. Also student to Faculty ratio seems to be amazing that is about 36 to 40 : 1. Almost all teachers are highly educated. In one single semester there happens two MSTs that is mid semester tests and lab MST and then final exam with final practical.
Placement Experience
Students start being recruited from 3rd year only, there is placement cell in the university which takes care of all these things. Average package of CSE department stipend has been around 4.2 lacs PA and the highest has been around 28 lacs by Amazon. Multiple students get placed from the university, actually it totally depends upon the student that how he/she has been preparing for placements and yes university plays it role perfectly. From the previous year placements , Amazon has recruited some of the students also Cognizant, Wipro and Accenture and many more companies have also visited in online mode only and yes multiple students have been placed in those companies as well. Now coming to the mass recruiters so yes TCS ,IBM has always been a biggest part of this from Chandigarh University that has also recruited multiple students for them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The amount is about 80000 per semester but the return of investment is quite good and also there are multiple scholarships that the university provides you and also if you are good student and can maintain the CGPA then you will be definitely having it for whole 4 years that is it's criteria for maintaining that scholarship is about 7.5 CGPA per year so you need to maintain it in order to have scholarship. Campus Life
I have joined the university in 2020 and everyone has witnessed covid-19 cases has been increasing rapidly and in 2021 also it has been increasing. So yes, the fact that I haven't joined College campus yet So, I can't give you must detail about that but yes hostels and all different facilities like food courts are available there and also green campus can be seen there in photos and videos.
