SVIT Vasad, BE, Computer Engineering

Reviewed on Jun 15, 2021(Enrolled 2020)

Remarks

It's a very nice college The admission process starts when acpc starts the admission process There are 3 quotas: 1) Merit 2) Management 3) Vacant Merit-based admission is given through ACPC and ACPC RANK based on your board marks and gujcet rank And Management quota admission is based on your interview taken by the college. And if by chance you didn't get the admission by above two quotas then you have to apply for Vacant quota This college has a number of seats for that student having good repo but didn't get the admission In govt quota and Management quota So best of luck with admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Computer Engineering. Nowadays, student choose that course in which their friends are enrolled but this is the extremely wrong decision And aftereffects are so bad for them You should choose that course in which you are really interested and in which you enjoy studying Exactly like that, I have an interest in computer and software I have chosen computer engineering. In our course Strength is around 150 divided into 2 class Faculty are highly qualified and Management is also very good.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 74000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college, fees are similar for any engineering field Ie. 74000/annum in our institute And also there are various scholarship programs available like MYSY and many more. You can check this out at www.digitalgujarat.gov.in And mygov.in In MYSY scholarship 50% of fees are Waviered. One can apply for this scholarship if he/she has 80percentile or above in their HSC of Gujarat board only

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good In our institute, we Conduct a tech-fest named Prakarsh which is a national-level technical festival. Now, talking about the library Our library is as big as a whale In which you'll surely find any book needed in your curriculum Or any external reading book. Every class is well equipped with a CCTV camera and 1 projector followed by a screen. you will get more information on Prakarsh.org

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college. The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota. The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
