Positive remark means many job opportunities for our university. Good at infrastructure. University rules are very good for the students. No negative remarks. College University is very good at teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering.On the day of the entrance exam they told about the college and the specifications about the college and we go the admission block to check the identities and they informed to go to the entrance exam room that they have separated and then they conducted the entrance exam.

Placement Experience

The placements and the job opportunities are very useful. AMET University tied up the mearsk company who runs the most ship in the world. Mearsk is the big and world best company for the ship management.

College Events

In our College there will lots of students from the other states of india. So we conduct many cultural functions in our College as different as onam,pongal etc. . And there many department functions for the separate department they conduct decently.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is slightly expensive but as the fees there will be good profit of it . As per the fees our College in the correct infrastructure. As many labs and the university is well and good .

Fees and Financial Aid

On the day of the application they give the Bonafide certificate to apply for the easily in the bank. Scholarship of our College they give many scholarship for the other states students it helpful for many students .

Campus Life

In sports our college is the best of the other colleges they will train after the college classes over . In the football the students are qualified to nationals level. As per the cricket they won the district level.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I am in hostel. The hostel infrastructure is very good, And the facilities of it providing good foods and the snacks . There are many hostels in our College. And we have the biggest dining room in our College to enjoy our food.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are very helpful to the students. They will train the students when they free in time. Alumni students are rarely cone to our university to see the faculty and the college. Alumni are very helpful at the college culturals .

Admission

I got admission by entrance exam . I was searched the college in the internet and my parents are confirmed this to join me then we searched the college website in the internet and there was online application form we filled it and the website told to come one day for the entrance exam and the university conducted the entrance exam at the evening of the day they published the results

Faculty

Faculties are good and experienced person. They teach the lessons as we understand form . In the college th y have the smart class to teach the lessons and the lab practicals and the computer lab . The faculty are very ggod at teaching.

The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. A Perfect College Life For A Cadet To Become An Officer.

I applied in the top 4 colleges in this field i.e., Tolani Maritime Institute, IMI Noida, SIMS Mumbai And AMET with MAERSK sponsorship at Chennai. I chose this college because i got MAERSK sponsorship and also the fees comparavtively to other colleges is less. Taking about the admission procedure, we need to clear IMUCET and the AMET CET exam and alsowe need to clear the interview with MAERSK (if passes AMET CET exam). Then the comapny conducts the psychological test in which we need to pass. Then we need to complete our medicals from DGS approved doctor and the comapny approved doctor to get into the college. Passport is mandatory while admission. Around 15000 students gets selected in IMUCET exam every year.
