Remarks

The admissions are maximum based on merit open system first rank list will be released and counselling will be conducted according to the rank vice total of around 6 rounds will be conducted all departments will be filled based on the rank list. There is a specific quota NRI which is for students from abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are absolutely good classes for both online and offline are taken well special doubt clarification sessions are also taken. It is a developing course and has a big scope in future so this course was chosen by me. The faculties are taken based on an open window system, they are really good.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internship programs are provided by the faculties and campus Immobile, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Many projects including IoT are done here. Good placement is provided after the good internships students are given good training to attend placement interviews.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students started getting placement students are maximum taken on TCS and CTS good placement is provided at sastra around 1700 placements are given by TCS Infosys etc. A maximum of 97% of students gets placement every year good job is required after the completion of the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are slightly high approximately 2 lakhs is needed to study a year including exam fees and tuition fees separate fees for the bus is given and many scholarships are available students who get maximum marks in semester 1 will be given on next semester students get stipend every year and even every year many placements occur every year.

Campus Life

The college consists of a huge library of more than 1 lakh books they conduct an annual fest named Kurukshetra which will be conducted like a festival and all the colleges come and it is one of the biggest fests.

Interview Experience

Only merit-based admission is taken no management quota available at sastra the more rank you get the more you have a chance of getting a seat in college no separate exams are conducted to get admissions.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
