The college has a diverse crowd getting admitted throughout India, majorly North. The admission process was pretty smooth wherein we were required to choose the branch according to its availability on merit. Campus size followed by a calm atmosphere has made it better amongst other universities, it's name had been mentioned a couple of times in NIRF Top 100 rankings too
Course Curriculum Overview
The civil engineering department has all the laboratories prescribed by AICTE, followed by a special hydraulics lab for experiments on Water resource engineering, this branch was started in 1983 so its alumni are spread across the industry
Internships Opportunities
We have to go through 45 days of compulsory training before the 4th year, Zensar provides internships to the IT branch and TCS for CSBS. Most of the students find internships through HODs or using their contacts / Internshala
Placement Experience
Most of the capable students are placed in MNCs like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro through on-campus or pool interviews; they come with a differential of 3.8LPA and around 7LPA. Veritas provided 9LPA, many others got jobs through LinkedIn. Most core engineering students are interested in doing further studies or preparing for government examinations, while others work in the practical field as Contractors for various departments
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are the bright side of the institutes when compared to any other private run college in Pune , there are semester fees for examinations which make it around 1,27k tution fess for a year . Girls are encouraged to apply for AICTE technical scholarship ,, followed by Cummins India scholarship for both genders
Campus Life
Almost every possible student club is operated on-campus officially, and some local clubs like Rotaract and Leo exist too. One can get his/her time occupied in club/cell activities after classes and even get the chance to attend national competitions. The library has a good collection of research papers and thesis followed by a huge reading room and computer center during college hours Competitions are conducted almost every week either online or offline; BHARTIYAM is an annual cultural fest followed by Boot-camp and E-summit by Entrepreneurship cell
Hostel Facilities
It is available for only first-year boys, later they have to move out of campus near Katraj-Trimurti Chowk which has a ton of housing facilities including PGs, Rental room, Private hostels which may suit everyone's purse according to needs There are a good number of student Mess and eateries around to suit every teenage
