Remarks
Being the State University, it was the best option as colleges affiliated to it are in large numbers in the State. JSSATEN is the no. 1 private college affiliated to this university, moreover, it's location, which is NCR region, gives the students the most needed exposure for both personal and professional growth. Being a Private college, the perks are - Well maintained Library and Practical Labs. Being affiliated to Govt. University, the total tuition fees is reasonable and also the perks of govt. Institutions such as inexpensive study material and low fees along with the syllabus dedicated to specific course which meets the demands of the market are appreciable.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course out of my interest in the subject and my curiosity of getting to the bottom of this. Per 50 students there are 2 faculties and additional to this there are lab assistants and departmental assistants as well who help in every way they can.The faculties are highly knowledgeable, and most of them pursue their Research along with teaching, so knowledge is constantly gained and the teachers are able to impart it accordingly. The exams are held very timely except in the case of emergency situations such as riots in delhi or pandemic situations. The exams are easy to pass if you have paid proper attention to the lectures in class, otherwise getting pass marks is difficult.
Placement Experience
Mostly the students prepare for government exams because the coaching is very close to the college. Apart from them, the placement is almost 100% for CS and IT and good placement opportunity for students of other branches in core companies as well.
College Events
Zealicon is the annual cultural and tech fest. Apart from this Sports fest named Mythri is also organized annually. Zealicon is held in March and Mythri in September. The library is very well maintained. Almost all the reference books are available here and students spend most of their college time here, gaining knowledge, preparing for competitive exams and sessional exams. Apart from this, there are many societies (or clubs) which one can join based on their field of interestäó´ be it dancing, photography, singing, Sports, Indoor games, Robots, Structures, Mechatronics, Coding, Literature, Social Work, Drama, Intelligence, Creativity, Art and what not.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is different for different years but doesn't necessarily increase. It is based on the resource utilization needed for the year. I, being from an Unreserved category, wasn't eligible for scholarship. I got placed in SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES INDIA PVT. LTD. through campus placement.
