Remarks

Chandigarh University being one of the top leading India private institutions this provides students with a bunch of opportunities in every field As such if i talk about bad experiences according to me being a girl hosteller girl hostels should be more advanced and equally facilitated like boys hostel. The admission process is quite simple either you should have a good merit score in JEE exams or their CUSAT exam but even the board merited students are awarded scholarships and admission. This university has high leads in ranking as based on NAAC A+ grade with top 300+ companies offering placement to every student and with good scholarship as well as education loan eligibility criteria . Website link for CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY - either from cucet.cuchd.in or from www.cuchd.in

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Doing bachelor's in Computer Science and engineering and that to from an Asia's top Private University was the best thing i would have got as doing B.TECH from not very renowned and just established Government universities that don't provide with that exposure that a college student deserves was not helpful anyway as college just shows ways to opportunities and help it's a student to gain and achieve his dream job. Highly qualified PHD scholars and well-experienced 2000+ faculty members with great techniques to teach students in a more exciting way so there is no kind of boredom and dullness you can feel with young well successful young and renowed and 30000 students. Exams are quite tough to crack all you need is to practice hard and achieve and the student care help desk and extra classes and extra faculty is all time present to help you out in any way they can

Internships Opportunities

3

College do offer Pre-placement offers for the pre-final year students on campus by the top MNC'S and also allows you to do off-campus internships with full off on assignments test and all and provides you with a No objection certificate till the duration of your internship period. Wipro offered technical trainee to me when i was in third year . Futureskillsnasscom project to earn badges for learning different skills during the training period i pursued from Wipro.

Placement Experience

3.5

9/10 for the placements for the Engineering branches and for the hotel management as this university brings s300+ top-level companies for the students to get campus placement. Google offered a 35 lacs package to a cse student in 2019 and amazon, Wipro,Dell, Mahindra capegemini,Microsoft all did offered packages of 10-20 lacs to the students with average package be 3.5-4 lac pa. almost all if i talk about CSE B.E. placements. getting placed by college and working in a TOP MNC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 80,000 + 2000(examination fee) per sem for every CSE student that is much lower as compared to other hiked private universities of India that is pretty much to afford for a top-rated course of engineering from such a renowned institution. Scholarship policies- sports, army child, disabled child, boards meritorious students, Top-scoring JEE students ets. This university also offers CUSET (Chandigarh university scholarship entrance test) with very basic knowledge of your school and easy to crackit with your concepts .

Campus Life

5

Chandigarh University offers you the best campus life one can ever imagine after school. CUTEST, TECH-FEST, TALENT HUNT, FOLKLORE, PUNJAB YOUTH FESTIVAL,CUMUN, CU-ANTRANG,TEDX moot sessions, and many more exciting and different block academics events too to keep the students engaged with their teachers and other course students and learning and inspiring each other going on the whole year. CU has one of the biggest libraries of all colleges in Punjab with a variety of books present for each topic. Classroom no that much good as NO AC. best of all opportunities and sports person present to train us at CU.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

24 hrs running water and electricity, medical care and an internet connection, wide space in rooms. i was living in a 4-seater and it was pretty good for me. just that mess food was good but timings were not.Just go to the student care department of the college and register there at the hostel help desk according to me as compared with other college hostels cleanliness and food this university has far better things and it's quite affordable.

Other Applied Colleges

Symboisis University | Bachelor's in computer science engineering

i got mechanical engineering due to my less scores in entrance and Chandigarh University offered me with computer science

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
