GD Rungta College of Science & Technology Bhilai, BCA, General

Reviewed on May 25, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

The Rungta college is what it is; Some people love it, some people hate it. I went to Rungta college and at the same time, I was satisfied with what I got. This is a perspective of a student who wasn't necessarily thrilled to be going to Rungta (or college in general) but ended up relatively happy with my time at College. I am a proud pass out of Rungta college. Just completed my BCA from Rungta. I never ever regretted my decision of joining Rungta for the whole tenure of 3years.

Course Curriculum Overview

Coming to studies, no other college actually offers lectures and study materials. Teachers can be contacted anywhere when they are free in case of any query. Friendly security and staff. Very kind to students and help them in parking as well.

Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and career scope is really good. Ranked one of the best institutions and a highly respected university. Good ambiance and vibe across campus. Filled with young minds and wonderful people to meet. Computer science courses and Bcom programs are really good. In my opinion, Rungta is the best private college in Bhilai. if you want to study. or if you want good reputed placements. And if you want enjoyment in your life.

Fees and Financial Aid

And no other private colleges I think charge lesser than Rungta. scholarships are offered to students based on their board results and categories as well. Best infrastructure facilities I bet Rungta provides. no college other than Rungta has its own central library. And mess or canteen which provides pure veg meals and daily needs.

Campus Life

Best festivals celebration you'll ever see in your life in the hostel of Rungta. Every week you have events and different inter-college fests. If you're into festing, it's the best place to be. A wonderful mix of cultures and ethics. Meet some amazing people across the country. The number of clubs and associations to join which will be really good like carpediem.

Hostel Facilities

I have been a hosteler in these years and it's too safe for girls especially. though there is a set of rules to be followed by students. but it's totally worth it because that ensures our safety only. Best infrastructure facilities I bet Rungta provides. no college other than Rungta has its own central library. And mess or canteen which provides pure veg meals and daily needs. Best festivals celebration you'll ever see in your life in the hostel of Rungta

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

The university strictly and force are 75% attendant rule
While some professor are highly qualified other relax heavily on reading of slide test

A good choice for higher education

Likes

Good facility supportive campus environment modern infrastructure and regular placement and skill development opportunities
Good balance of academics and extra curriculum activities and placement
Active student clubs and cultural events throughout the year

Dislikes

Please mate opportunity could be improve for some courses
Administrative process can some time be slow
More industry visit an internship could be benefit

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Rungta university is relevant and convert both basic and advanced topic . I choose these course because it offer a good mix of theory and practical learning which help in building skill for job and higher studies the syllabus include assignments practical work and project that improve understanding .Exam are held very every semester along with internal test and practical exams . The difficult level is moderate and the study student regularly can perform well . The curriculum can be improve by adding more industrial project , internship and hand on hand training to give student better real world experience.

Honest review for shankaracharya

Likes

The infrastructure is too good, it is best in bhilai.
The faculties are well educated and friendly
Classrooms and labs are good, gives premium experience.

Dislikes

The lift of our building is broken, they don't even repair it
Canteen should be improved, other varieties of food should be added more at less price.
Placements needs improvement, literally no company comes in campus for selection

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject are awesome, that convinced me to choose this but the course content is not good, i mean they only teach basics, the university should change the syllabus and should focus on practical knowledge. We use to give 3 internal tests in duration of 1 month each and then give semester exam, all this happens in duration of 5 months. The difficulty level is moderate.

Great college for every type of course

Admission:

No process required in this college, just pay the course fees and your admission will be confirmed in this college. But the student has to score better marks to take admission in this college. Lower pecentage has less chance to get admission.

Thoughts on my college

I have given neet examination but failed to qualify it due to high cutoffs and reservations.Due to this I have applied for this college and enrolled easily by my 12th marks and this college also only needs money to get admission instead of marks. There is no exam given to get admission in this college, you only have to register your name by giving some amount asked by the college and after that you will get admission in this college. But for your kind you need 50% in your 12th class for eligible to pursue education in this college...Read More

GD Rungta , Last place you want to visit

I applied to this college because it was the only option available. I had already taken a drop to study for CGPAT and ICAR exams. Due to corona , CGPAT was cancelled, and ICAR had very high cutoff due to 12th passouts just scoring 90%. The admission process was more or less just money. you ask for a seat , they give you a price , u pay money , they tell u you can attend class with a reciept....Read More

My review - My college

I haven't applied any other college rather than Sanjay rungta because I know my admission is confirm. I choose this college because from one of my school senior who is also persuaded his btech from this college, I get to know that the faculty and all over things are very better than any other colleges in our locality. The placements are also very well. For taking admission in Sanjay rungta , Bhilai first we have to choose a counselor then they do all the things , he/she will help us to know about the fees structure and all other necessary things . We just have to fill a online form to choose the course and at last we have to pay the fees in online mode only. For BCA every 12th course is eligible. There are no enterance exam and no cutoff....Read More
