Remarks

Basically when compared to other colleges like DG Vaishnav and Guru Nanak is the best college which is a city which is located inside the city. I also like to share that Loyola is the best college for its Holistic academic performance as well as non-academic performance. The exposure that students get to Loyola is extremely different from what is get from another college and that's the main reason why students should go to Loyola than any other institutions. As I already told Loyola is best known for Holistic performance, students can test their knowledge in various types of the field like media, sports digital marketing and arts. Drawbacks of Loyola: Even though the college is best known for its curriculum and integral activities, college management is one of its major drawbacks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The reason why I chose Economics is it is one of the easiest subject to understand. Basically, college is divided as shift 1 and shift 2 and both the shift consist of 10 to 15 stocks that are 32 to 35 staff in total for a department. I think in a college if a person wants to teach the students he or she would finish there masters(minimum) in the relevant course. Teachers also present PPT to the students so that the students can easily understand the topics. The exams which are conducted by the institutions or not that easy to pass but the one who was attentive in the classes can easily get pass marks without any difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

4

For internship, students are sent to companies like Deloitte, Sun TV Network, Vijay TV, big 4 companies, etc. Some companies may give a really high stipend, wherein some companies we have to work as an intern to enhance our skills.

Placement Experience

4

Loyola has its own placement cell called Loyola placement cell which is the only platform by which a student can apply to go or selected for a campus interview. Even during these hard pandemic times, the Loyola placement cell helps many students to get placement in big companies. A student should acquire a minimum of 70 percentage to get into placements. My plan is also to get Placement in a well reputed company.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I first stepped into the college I paid around 20000 and then for 2nd sem I paid around 16000 and for 3rd sem I paid 14000. Each student at the end of their college has to do six months or a minimum of three months internship from which the students can get a stipend as well as some knowledge about the work they do.

Campus Life

3

In Loyola, there are two main Cultural events the the first one is Inter College cultural was held in September month and the other in which the other students can also participate which will be held during February. My college has one of the best libraries in the whole city itself. It has the best books and journals. There will be a drinking water facility on every floor and in every block. Loyola also gives equal importance the sports and other activities. Loyola also has special social groups clubs like NCC, photography Rotaract club, environment club, Navy etc.

Other Applied Colleges

Dg vaishnava | BA economics

Obviously loyola is better than dg so I do go for loyola

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. It provides a strong foundation for higher studies and career opportunities. Internal assessments and semester exams are conducted regularly, with a fair marking system. More industry exposure, internships, and skill-based training would further enhance students' learning experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The department of English not only offers good education but also so many values to lead our life. Faculties were so friendly in clearing students' doubts. There was personality development course to improve students' personality. Students had to choose any other subjects other than they are studying for sbi course. Due to this students learn about other subjects too.

Madras School of Economics - [MSE], Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Sep 17, 2024(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics, python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.
