Remarks

If you want to enjoy your life then this is a good college for you. If your 12th marks are low then you can try here and you'll get in a good course like BE-CSE . At the starting they will show you that there former students got good placements but maximum of them are fake news . Campus is good here . Classrooms are also good . Hostels are up to the mark , better than other institutes. Don't have any High Hopes from this college. Your problems will never get solved here.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you choose CSE then you'll only learn how to make a calculator . Rest you have to learn from yourself only. Faculty members are not that knowledgeable. You'll see same teacher teaching different subjects.

Fees is very high. You'll get scholarships by giving the CUCAT exam . But you'll not be eligible to apply your scholarships in specialization courses. Hostel fees is also a bit High and every year there fees structure rises by 10-15K

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good here. You'll have a great campus Life. Nice environment. But the outing time for girls is upto 7 pm and for boys there's no such fixed time. ______________________________________

Hostel rooms are good . You'll get choice as 1 seater 2 seater , 3 seater , 4 seater and 5 seater . 4 seater rooms are a bit small but 5 seater rooms are big enough . Mess is not that good. Food is upto the mark.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
