college i did not go to : 1. Manipal Institue of Technology It was not a priority; not above the college i am in. 2. Vellore Institute of Technology Distance issue, it was very far from the place i live in. But it is a great college. 3. Thapar Institute of Technology It was not a priority above SNU. 4. BITS Did not get my choice of stream. 5. Delhi University Has limited options for Btech students. Was not a priority anyway. No quota. There are two Admission criteria i. class XII boards percentage + Entrance exam (SNUSAT + APT) (i opted for this) So percentage above 75% works for going to btech. College i guess did not reveal entrance exam qualifying marks. ii. through JEE mains score. I got the offer letter and we were told to fulfill the responsibilities and paper-work. There was noorientation as such.

Electronic and Communication has wide range of scope offering. It goes from coding to hardware applications. I extremely liked the course beforehand as my elder brother is also an ece passout from VIT, Vellore. 1:10 is the ratio. Most of them are ex-prof of IITs, or passouts of IITs and NITs. They are highly qualifiied. Teaching method is much like every other college. They conduct regular exams, quizzes, and ample amount of assignments, tutorials, practicals.

i am pretty doubtful about this one. I am a fresher so dont reeally know about the internship offers. But as far as i know a lot of companies place students for internships giving good stipend and placement offers based on the individual's performance.

after 6th semester everybody becomes eligible for campus placements. companies like tcs, hcl, delloite, etc. my plan after getting the degree i pretty simple. I either be preparing for CAT or be preparing for Mtech. Ill be doing MBA after doing a job for atleast 2 years for a better profile.

The fee structure for admission in any academic year is properly given in the appropriate annexure. I am still a fresher but there are wide-scale companies coming for recruitment, the number of companies is getting higher year after year. Companies like HCL, TCS, Delloite etc come every year.

After what i have heard, the campus life at snu is all you desire for. It has sports complex- both indoor and outdoor, large beautiful library, canopies, greenery all over, flower beds, beautiful lake and what not. Library is full of books and journals. Sports and extra curricular activities- snu always take care of it. It has 5 Basketball courts, many badminton court both indoor and outdoor, horse race etc. There is a software built by students of snu 2014 batch for ece digital electronics called RNBIP.

mess offers basically everything from every part of india. we have a food committee of students itself who decides the menu, do's and don't's of the mess. registration for hostel is on first come first serve basis. we have duo room or flat-like hostel for girls i.e. one master-bedroom, two rooms, 2 toilets where 5 girls live.
