S's Review On NIST University, Berhampur

Actually, i joined here through a broker or marketing director of this college though it was near to my home I went there and paid 1st 20000 and then when I again revisited there I came to know I have not got admission there and the broker to whom I paid he was working for another owner of the college (sangram mudali) actually there is a dispute between the owners so the mudali disturbed new students with admission to decrease the fame of college and surprisingly the college owners were also not doing any great things to keep out this so be aware during taking admission give your money in right hands and you will get your receipt the safest way is the contact the college through ojee website data and complete the whole joining process through this. I repeat please take it seriously be aware of ur deposits always and contact through ojee website only no external broker

I chose computer science engineering because in these types of college you always should choose this branch or Information technology (IT) for a campus placement or you can also take Electronics and communication (ECE) because here this branch is best in teaching and training and has also highest salary package alumni from this branch since last 2 year so if u are at NIST then u can consider this branch of u are here for further studies or personal preference and also nist has excellent professors in all branches all are highly experienced and highly educated and the teacher student ratio is also as it should be I can't tell the exact number of ratio but it's good yes there is a strict exam always conducted here I am telling you to have the only choice that's study except that no option, as usual, every year 2 main semester 2 midterm(no back paper) 4 quizzes 4surprise tests 4 assignment and all things done under a strict proceedure and yes it is a autonomous institution

From 3rd semester students are placed every year lot of IT companies visits here mostly IT and few core branch companies a good number students placed from IT branches I have decided to appear GATE and study further M-Tech

The scholarships they give some meritorious students those who have secured highest rank in JEE main in their respective branches in this your whole study fees will be free only You have to pay the hostel and mess fees if u stay in a hostel and also gives some offers to the students whose senior siblings were or are in the college that's named sibling scholarship except all these u will be given some fees cut if u do good in academics or semester cgpa

Yes there are many clubs NCS NSC music club robotic club and many more I think these will be better clear when u come to the college yes every year there a tech-fest named sankalp very grandfest occurs every year there is a big central library with ac all required books for studies available there and also some extra books novels also there each classroom consists of a green board white board with full setup projector

Hostel facility is average there is a purifier and cooler in every floor but all are not working some of these are active hostel food is only edible not good and yes dark toilets cleaned twice a day still u won't get so much hospitalized only manageable , room is rushed with 5 students each room has beds mattresses and study tables with cupboards and an almirah yes there is also switchboard near to every bed
