Remarks

I joined it mainly because of their placements and their reputation. As Chandigarh University keeps a regular check on discipline and has some strict measures to deal with the defaulters. I chose this college due to its reputation mainly. I simply visited the website of university and contacted them.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I chose this course because its details really interested me and are really helpful in today's world. The faculty is also cooperating and teach in a very easy way. The faculty appointed to us are mostly phd or some have a Master's degree. The term exams are held at end of each semester and to pass them is all up to us.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

No i have not opted or done an internship till now but would love to gain experience as our senios have done internship and gave very positive reviews about their experience. There are many companies like bonn, babaji or many other which offer interns to learn about the manufacturing process. It can also be in a hospital or clinic where we learn to deal with different patients practically.

Placement Experience

Placement is good of the university as there are a lot well reputed companies which come for placement of students. The excellent students also get great packages. For example last year a cse student got a package of around 32 lakh per year. More than 65% students get placed every year. I would like to get college placement or else would try to study abroad regarding my course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 50000 per semester including the examination fees which is 2000 extra for each semester. There are different scholarships depending on the students calibre. Mostly the scholarships are for sc/st students.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at campus is great as the campus is really big and beautiful. There are parks grounds restaurants to eat and have fun. Each year a CU fest is organized to see the cultural and extracocurricular activities of students. In this students from different departments showcase their talent. There are libraries in each block and there is also main library. Sports is on a very large scale in university. The sportspersons get scholarships on winning medals or trophies.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level
