Reviewed on May 20, 2021(Enrolled 2016)

Remarks

It is the number one college in Chhattisgarh after nits and IITs. The result of students in technical exams like gate was very good. And various practical machines are available. It has area of around 29 acres and provides degree in 8 different specialisation including higer master degree. The facilities include gym, sports club, boys hostel, girls hostel and playground for outdoor sports, cafeteria , astrology club, nukkhad natak and many more amenities and facilities. The way of teaching and practical skills are quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The syllabus is well structured and tutored but the checking at University level is not up to the mark. The faculty members are supporting and help you in learning skills apart from academics. They even motivates you and guide you through you college journey to make it more fruitful.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Try for both on campus and off campus. Because many on campus companies are from it and Marketing sector.Very few companies visited for core branches like mech, civil but I'd you opt for cs/it placement is quite good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Around 35000 per semester and scholarship is provided on the basis of overall rank scored in first semester. Various IT and marketing company visit the campus but for core branches there are only few companies like panasonic etc

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is good but can't expect like that in iit or nits because after college hrs campus seems to be haunting as no one remain after that. Beacuse most of the students were from local areas or by nearby cities so they preferred to travel back to their homes. But still it was enjoyable.

A brief about MBA in BIT, Durg

Tbh in Durg, Bhilai the number of Management college is pretty less. And by comparing all the colleges like Shankara, Rungta etc I feel like BIT was best among them all as it has a great reputation, affordable fee structure, faculties are good, and placements are best among all of them. So I didn't applied for any other college other than BIT. The admission process was very simple and hassle-free. All kinds of exams are accepted like CAT,MAT,XAT etc but the number of addmission is limited to 200 students I think....Read More
