In icet I got decent rank and there was counseling for choosing the colleges. In my mind, I had 10 colleges which are the best. Based on my rank I got a seat in this college i.e., Kasturba Gandhi degree and pg college for women.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose MBA because there are a lot of opportunities for MBA graduates in the corporate world. I am interested in finance so I chose this specialization. And I am glad that I got a seat in this college, the faculty members and so friendly and interactive. Most of the lectures are done with the Ph.D. and post graduates. Due to this pandemic, our exams are in progress. We had only our assignments and internals online.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

Kasturba is good in placements. Placement totally depends on the students' interest in taking a job and how serious are they towards getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable for every middle-class family. Including scholarship, I paid near about 20k as fees. Based on caste, the scholarship is availed. TS icet scholarship can be availed for the people who joined through counseling basis. Campus placements are good in our college

Campus Life

It is great to be part of this college. Due to this pandemic, everything is virtual nowadays so we are missing our college events fests. Kasturba is the best campus and it has a huge library with lots of journals and magazines. The campus is full of beautiful greenery. And coming to extracurricular activities we have singing, dancing, arts.

My college experience.

Likes

The staff were very responsive and there were no extra demands and extra demands by the college and the staff.
I felt comfortable in college environment and the class mates,there were no signs of ragging,bullying etc
My faculty were experienced staff who studied phd and other higher education.

Dislikes

I felt that the infrastructure in the college should be improved.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies visited my campus are 1.naukri 2.berkedia 3.tcs And other 20% of students got placed. They got nice packages as well

Infrastructure and Sport Arena best in India
Library is huge and It is opened till 2 Am
Food of Mess is like home, and they serve chicken briyani too

Dislikes

Laundry Service can do better and should increase their Size
Again Laundry. They should return our clothes on time
Timings of Gym should be more versatile and flexible

Placement Experience:

Like most of the companies come. It is on students how they perform all the infrastructure and all the learning resources and all the experience which is required to the student is provided here like Library is open till two, you can go and hustle there and and learn new skills

I like the most college campus Environment.
Event's are conducting, which will refresh our mind and body.
Atmosphere will be very good and cool every one can enjoy it.

Dislikes

Transportation was not good and the roads also.
No placements in this college, don't expect the placement by watching the cut-outs.
College campus management, security, which was very rude behaviour.

The 1st thing is i got conformation from koti women's college. But i choose kasturba because of its good teaching, well equipped lab facilities, cultural events , student growth programmes etc. I didnt get rejected from any college I've applied since i scored 978/1000 in my intermediate. So the admission process for kasturba is through DOST programme conductued by government of telangana which allots seats to students in various osmania & exhibition society affiliated colleges across telanga. So the reason I applied for this college is because the academic fees is more comparable than other colleges , I have even given interview in Loyola academy degree and pg collegel, alwal, there the course which I wanted to pursue was about 80000 which I couldn't afford so the college which I'm currently in is more affordable and also they have fee reimbursement which makes our middle class family an affordable way to study...Read More
