Remarks

The admission is based mainly on the UPSEE score of the students. An alternate written test is also there for students who didn't give the UPSEE exam. The written test consists of multiple-choice questions of 2 marks each with a negative marking of -1 on each wrong answer. It tests the aptitude of students. A coding test is also there for students coming from a CS background to test their logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I come from a CS background and I am interested in programming and coding. This college maintains a good faculty-student ratio. There are several teachers for the same subject to increase the faculty-student ratio. Faculty members are well experienced and qualified. The teaching style of teachers is very unique and appreciable. Assignments tests are conducted every two weeks with a moderate difficulty level.

Class Size: 41Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Certain roles require prior experience in the offered domain. An internship not only helps students explore a career path but also develops or refine their skills. Students get a chance to network early in their career that helps them gain confidence. For example, an internship is offered by TCS for the position of Android Developer.

Placement Experience

Placement no. of this college is increasing every year. Each year PSIT sets a new record through its outstanding placements. Top recruiters include companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Wipro, Cognizant, Optum, Tech Mahindra, Anchor, etc. The lowest package offered by companies is 3.5 LPA. The average is 5 LPA and the highest package is 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee for B.tech CS-IOT was 1,70,000 INR per annum. Scholarships under the UPSEE score and UP government schemes are available for almost everyone. Talking about campus jobs there are a no. of recruiting companies that hire students based on their skills.

Campus Life

Ignitia is the greatest techno-cultural event taking place on the college campus. During Ignitia, students display intense involvement and a fierce competitive spirit. PSIT also encourages students to actively engage in various clubs. These clubs give a platform for students to exhibit their talents in the field of their interest. Some of the clubs are Bastion Beta- English club, Logix-Algo club, etc.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I failed to score good marks in JEE advanced or else i would've enrolled in some iit. The college does try to match its pace with tier 1 colleges but there's a lot more to be done. The college has direct as well as counselling based admission. Direct admission include a test and interview while counselling is done on the basis of competitive exam score...Read More
