Remarks

I appeared in UPSEE-2018 and after getting the score I visited PSIT college, qualified college's entrance test for the CSE branch, and got my admission. The college entrance test included an objective exam and an interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose BTECH-CSE because of my interest in software technologies. CSE faculty is highly qualified, teaches with full enthusiasm and dedication which motivates students to work hard. There are class tests, assignments, pre-university tests held periodically which prepares us for the final sem exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides separate lectures for project work. We have domain-expert faculties who help us to make our project better. We have a tech-fest where we display our projects to dignitaries. We are always encouraged by college to make projects that are different from existing projects.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible to sit in placement drive from the 6th sem. The college has dedicated training programs to prepare the students for tests of different companies. We got training for aptitude, programming, dsa mcq, DBMS, etc which helped us to crack various exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

PSIT college provides many facilities with well-equipped labs. PSIT has one of the best infrastructures. Each year there comes an opportunity from aktu for eligible students to apply for scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

Each year PSIT organizes a 2-day annual fest (ignitia) in which popular celebrities are invited. There are separate clubs for different talents, students can enhance their skills by joining the clubs. Each year there are some sports events like Footprints

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is well-maintained, clean, and has many facilities. The mess provides hygienic food. The Mess menu is displayed on the notice board. We have canteens, Nescafe, brio( hygienic drinks). We can also order food online from swiggy zomato.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

the only reason i choose this college was because i availed fee wavier and our financial condition was not so good back then. I failed to score good marks in JEE advanced or else i would've enrolled in some iit. The college does try to match its pace with tier 1 colleges but there's a lot more to be done. for computer science and engineering you must have given jee main in which your rank should be under 500k and must have more than 75% in maths, physics, chemistry. you can also directly apply for that course; you just have to take the admission test on campus and clear the interview round. The admission test on the campus is based on the basic application of maths physics chemistry as well as aptitude. according to your score, you will be allotted the branch of computer science. admission starts after the first attempt of jee mains. you can apply for college by visiting the campus if you want admission directly or can apply through UPTU counseling. application fees vary from course to course. you can get the reservation benefits from the counseling process, but for direct admission, you can ask for the reservation benefits from the management present on the campus. the admission process is quite easy and fast. you have to be active because the seat gets full within a month or two....Read More
