Good for students who are serious about their career.

After giving the UPSEE exam, I applied to various colleges and opted for PSIT considering the exceptional placement record, training and practical learning opportunities the college provides. I took direct admission and had to face an interview and share my 10th and 12th marks as well as UPSEE rank. I opted for Computer Science and Engineering. One requires at least 60% marks in 10th and 12th (PCM) to be eligible.

The course curriculum is sought after and industry-aligned. Along with our subjects, students are trained for various technologies and programming languages. Soft skills are also a part for training from the very beginning and all these trainings make students ready for the corporate world. Apart from this we have 2 Class Tests, 1 Pre University and 1 University exam along with some assignment tests each semester. All the faculty members are highly qualified and either have masters or PhD.

The College attracts a lot of the limelight because of its high placement records. Students get placed in Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Unthinkable Solutions, Accenture, Nagarro, and many more companies. These companies recruit 40-200+ students Off-campus opportunities are also notified to the students and they are trained for those also. As far as Computer Science Engineering Students are considered, more than 80% of students are placed and the count is still going. I also got placed in Infosys as System Engineer and also have TCS Digital Offer.

The college fee is pretty decent with a great ROI. The charges for hostel and bus facility is also reasonable. There are some Campus Ambassador internships for which only final year students are eligible. Fee includes everything like Tution Fee, Maintenance fee, and every facility apart from optional services like Bus and Hostel. There are scholarships too for different criteria.

There are various fests that happen at PSIT every year. The most awaited fest is Ignitia. It happens in the month of February. Other fests like Waves, The freshers happens in September; Footprints happens on Children's Day (14-November). There is a big central library having the latest journals and books on various subjects. Sports like Basketball, Throwball, etc are also having a large number of participation by the students. There are a lot of clubs running around like LogiX- The Algo Club (for Computer Enthusiast); Prayas- The Eco club (For spreading environmental awareness); Bastion- The English Club (provide opportunities to improve communication skills); TuneIn- the Music Club; Danzeal- The Dance Club etc.

At the time of admission, I faced a personal interview and a written aptitude round. Based on your performance in these rounds, you are offered an engineering branch. But the management listens if you are really passionate about your branch. So in that case, your favorite branch will be offered. For the preparation of these rounds, you just need to prepare basic of aptitude and little mathematics.
