Remarks
I applied for two colleges Chandigarh University and lovely proffetional university. In fact, both the colleges are one of the best but the fees in LPU is bit more than that in Chandigarh University therefore I preferred Chandigarh University. I applied through the General category without any quota and the minimum marks required for that was 70% in boards. The procedure to apply is simple. You had to give the CUCET (a scholarship test conducted by CU) and than you are shortlisted if you fulfill the eligibility criteria of 70% in boards. Then you have to just reserve your seat. And once you are done with this procedure. Your admission is almost done.
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to do BTech as it was my priority and the it is one of the best course in Chandigarh University as the faculty here is very much educated from reputed universities and most of the faculty is educated in foreign universities. Also, the faculty is very much supportive and helpful. The exams here we also held time to time and teachers make the students fully prepared till the semester exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Considering the facilities and opportunities the fee here is quite affordable( 90,000 /semester) which is comparatively less than other private colleges. On the other hand it helds a scholarship test which provides upto 100% scholarship to the students. Hence it becomes very much affordable. Even I got the scholarship of 60% in my tuition fee.
Campus Life
The college is best in building the socio and curriculum life of a student. As it provides best exposure of studends even it has around 5% of its students from foreign countries which makes the exposure more better and lovingly. The sports atmosphere is one of the best thing you can consider here. As it has a very good sports complex and providesceach sports facility. Even 2-3 students from this college has represented on international level. It also conducts various fests as different different levels for sports, education, tech fests and so many.
