My college review

The admission process was simple, I went to the office of Chandigarh University and asked a counsellor that I want to take admission then he/she provided me with a form which I fill and then they demanded a passport size photo and Rs 10000 for seat allotment and I gave all these details and after some time they provided me login credentials of Chandigarh university where you can find all details like how much fee you have to pay, hostel information if you opted because they will ask you that you want hostel or not. There are no exams for admission, you can take direct admission without any exam. There are no minimum marks criteria, only you have to pass your 12th board, and also there is no age limit.

I have a great interest in Computer Science so I have opted for this course and surely I want to do a B.E that's why I opted for this course. Taking about faculty to student ratio then it is good there are numbers of faculty present and they are ready for help also and qualification of these faculty are that many of them are MTECH passed and some of them are also doing PhD. Some faculty have good knowledge in their fields and some have not. There are 2MST (mid-semester test) and 1 final exam and the average can easily pass it. Questions are not so hard, if you weekly read your topics you will pass these exams easily.

There are many companies that visit to provide internships, Just a few months before just pay have visited and given internships to 20 students with a stipend of Rs 25000. There are various projects assigned by these companies like building invoice systems using machine learning or with the use of python.

The campus placements of my university are good. Students get eligible to seat in placements after the sixth semester. There are many companies which visited like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Microsoft and many more. There are about 600 companies visits every year. Recent amazon made 11 offers, Nokia made 90 offers. The highest offer is 22 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. About 80-85% of students get placed. I recently placed in a high radius. My plan is to do a job after getting a degree.

There is an Rs 80000 fee for every semester and Rs 2000 extra as an examination fee and if you opted for a hostel then it is Rs 75000 for one year and now its have been increased to Rs 82500. Student can get a scholarship if he/she has a military background and another way is that they have to give exam fo scholarship which this university takes before admission. According to students' performance in tests, they assign scholarships to students and also students can get a scholarship by their performance in jee mains exams and board exams.

Yes, there are many fests happened in Chandigarh University and mainly these fests take place in the month of February and March. There are many tech fests organised by this university every semester. It is a library in each building where you can find all the reading material and also there is the main library which keeps open from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Classrooms are neat and clean and every classroom has a whiteboard and projectors. Seating arrangements are also well and in specialisation course, you will find better classrooms. Each desk has its charging ports and many more facility. This university also gives too much support for sports. There is regular competition and various awards are also givens for participation in this university. There are various clubs which is run by students like innovator club, developing clubs and many more.

This University provides the best hostel facilities from my point of view because I am a hosteller. Rooms are always kept clean by staff and there is a regular supply of water and electricity. There are various options for a student to select like five-seaters, four-seaters, three-seaters, and many more. Each student has its light, almirah, and ethernet ports. The bandwidth of the internet was also good. Meal quality is also best. There are different meals every day so that students cannot feel bored by eating the same meal. The registration process is simple you can obtain your hostel at the time of admission also. You can also option hostel facility through university website also.
