Remarks
The admission criteria for the program is, we can take direct admissions or may qualify by UPSEE examinations and qualify the cutoffs of the examinations. The student should be 10+2 qualified for admission to the college. The admission process is so systematic, you need to enter in the admission shell on the day of counseling and the details are shared from time to time, about what is to be done for the admission process. The payment can be done online or offline.
Course Curriculum Overview
1 -Psit Kanpur is one of the best colleges in Uttar Pradesh.The college got placed in the top3 ranks in AKTU(2019). I chose PSIT to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical engineering because the vision of the department is to impart quality education to create world-class technocrats and entrepreneurs with new ideas and innovations to meet up the everchanging demands of society. 2- There are different faculty for different subjects and the classroom consists maximum of 60 students.The faculty of the college is highly supportive.The teachers are highly qualified and give their best to make the students a better version of themselves. 3- The regular practice of holding exams here is done which make students more efficient.
Internships Opportunities
There are different programs for the different branches and accordingly, the companies propose internships, with some amount of definite stipend. There are different companies that select students on their skills and provide them internship programs.
Placement Experience
From the third year of the Btech, they are eligible for placements. The placements are record breakers here always. An average 5 lakhs per annum package is proposed. Most of the students get placed in different companies like Infosys,Wipro.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Program fee is 123300. The scholarship is offered for the students in AKTU. We need to fill the scholarship forms and details. The on campus placement is done here which has a stipend of average 5 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life
Ignitia is the greatest fest in PSIT. This is conducted in the month of march and april.Regular orientation programs are done for the students. Books are available for the students of every branch in the college library.The student can normally issue the book and return it timely. students can issue their books online also. There are different social groups and different workshops held by the students for students. Campus have different disciplinary rules which are strictly followed.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms in the hostels are two or three-seater. They give almirah ,table ,chair for every hosteler. Food of the mess is also proper and is balanced. The food is up to the mark here. Registration process for the hostel is done from the college. The fee for the non ac rooms per annum is 74000 .
